There should be a big challenge arriving from EMILY DICKINSON Saturday at Glorious Goodwood.
Two weeks ago she was in the Irish Oaks and she went very well there. Emily Dickinson took fourth in that contest in the Group 1 at the Curragh.
She got off the mark at the third time of asking, which was in a maiden.
Connections have tried her hard since then and she has continued to respond to challenges.
On her penultimate run, for example, Emily Dickinson was only touched off by a head in a Group 3 at Leopardstown.
She isn’t done improving yet and looks like being a big player on the return to this trip.

Yesyes to make a bid
There has been good market support for YESYES ahead of the Lille Langry on Saturday as well.
She will be making her reappearance after a break that extends back to last October.
That’s a sizable time away from the track, but she is in good hands and should be ready.
There was a fine 3-year-old campaign by Yesyes, winning three of her first four starts.
The pick of the bunch was a listed victory at Chester twelve months ago.
She closed out last season with a defeat in a Group 1 over in France.

Glentarney is a lively outsider

Urban Artist to get in the mix?
URBAN ARTIST finished ahead of Glenartney when they met earlier this season at York.
That was in the Bronte Cup back in May when she took a runners-up finish.
That was a good effort and there could well have been excuses on her follow-up at Royal Ascot.
She was in the Queen Alexandra, a long gruelling effort that didn’t suit her at all.

Rest of the runners
FORBEARANCE hasn’t produced the kind of form this season that suggests she will break through on Saturday. The mare did claim four wins last season, and there was a Group 3 in that. Forbearance just hasn’t been back at those levels since.
VIOLA has improved the last twice but may still have a little too much to find. She was runner-up to Sea La Rosa in a Group 3 on her penultimate run at Haydock. Viola didn’t quite fire on her follow-up in a listed at Newmarket.
TYPEWRITER is the rank outsider in the Lillie Langtry betting odds and this is a huge test up at this level. She was at Group 2 at Royal Ascot in the Queen’s Vase last time out and looked out of her depth there.
