PGA BMW Championship Golf Betting Info
After a late Monday finish on Labor Day in the USA, the PGA FedExCup play offs pick straight up again this week as we head to the third event of the four. Following this, it will be all down to the Championship Tournament next week. So there is still plenty to play for and plenty of jostling for positions to come for the remaining players left in the tournament It is off to Indiana this week, in Carmel. This is arguably the easiest course on the play offs and we should see some strong scoring this week. It is simple tee to green golf that is needed and anyone who can find just a little extra distance off the tee may put themselves in a stronger position.

PGA BMW Championship Golf Betting Defending Champion
It was Englishman Justin Rose who pulled out a two stroke win here last year for a great finish. That was in Lemont, Illinois. Rose is trading at a price of 40/1 with online bookmaker Bet365 to double on his BMW wins this season. It hasn’t been a strong FedExCup run from Rose this year as he only managed a T46 at The Barclays, before crashing out with a missed cut last week at the Deutsche Bank. That was his second missed cut in five starts, but also in those five starts there were two top five finishes. Confident if he gets into the swing to challenge, but probably not quite there at the moment. Good price though.

PGA BMW Championship Golf Betting Favourite
Straight back to a battle between Tiger Woods and last week’s winner Rory McIlroy for favourite. These two, once again are way shorter than the rest of the field but there is still good value in them. McIlroy fired his way brilliantly to the title at the Deutsche Bank last week, not letting a stellar third round from Louis Oosthuizen phase him. McIlroy is well back in his groove and sitting a the top of the FedExCup standings and has taken over the number one spot in the world. Showing his top form at the moment and will be strong. So too is Woods, who is trucking along nicely. Woods fired in a T3 finish last week, a solid performance and he has the driver to work his way around the BMW this week. Still is liable for a bit of a patchy round, however, if he carries over his groove then he is going to be in a confident mood. We have seen some great stuff from him during the FedExCup play-offs. Expect more and a response to McIlroy’s win last week. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are trading at a price of 7/1 with online bookmaker Bet365.

Other Contenders
Dustin Johnson is taking a lot of interest in the betting market. He has found a sweet spot in his form at the moment, and he has the natural distance to bomb his way around d the course. Johnson, who has won a Play Off tournament in each of the last two seasons, has landed two top five finishes in this season’s two event so far. He is running hot at the moment and always shows up well at this time of the year. One of the longest hitters on the PGA, he should be at home this week. He also has the touch with the irons to hit the greens at the moment. Just his all around game is superb at the moment. A great fit and great value this week.

Lee Westwood is making steady progress through the FedExCup play offs as well. This is the Englishman’s first crack at the post season on the PGA and is handling himself well. Going along under the radar, but he last the PGA in greens in regulation and that should put him up near the top again this week. Landed a T5 at The Barclays, and a T13 last week so is in solid enough form. It’s not going to take much of a step forward for him to get up near a title and the nature of the course this week could well expedite that.

Louis Oosthuizen is look majestically confident at the moment and is going to be worth looking at. That remarkable third round last week at TPC Boston, where he rattled of seven birdies in a row was just the culmination of a very good season. He has earned himself consecutive to five finishes now in the FedExCup play offs and his all round stats just read well. If there is anyone on the bubble of landing a win this week then it is Oosthuizen along with Dustin Johnson. They should both be strong performers here.

Sergio Garcia makes a very interesting punt. The Spaniard decided to rest last week and skip The Duetsche Bank. He will still comfortably make it through to the championship finals and it was a calculated move. He has been busy and simply wanted a rest and he has his eye on the Ryder Cup as well. So he needed a break and took one. However, prior to his break, he recorded a great win at the Wyndham and then carded a T3 at The Barclays. So nothing wrong with his game, nothing wrong with his form and you would expect him to be well rested and fresh.

Best Outside Bet
Jeff Overton will be at home this week, almost literally. The Indiana native knows this course like the back of his hand and showed some of his best form for a while last week with a T7 in Boston. He wanted to have a crack at this course in the FedExCup and he simply made it happen. Overton is trading at a price of 66/1 with online bookmaker Bet365.
