Buzz 6/5 FAV in The Ascot Hurdle Racing Odds

It’s hard to ignore the presence of BUZZ in this contest as he looks to continue his progressive career.

He was really on the up last season and the biggest piece of form that he produced was a runner up spot in an Aintree Grade 1.

That big effort from Buzz was at this distance, so he naturally rates a threat here.

An extra boost for supporters of Buzz is that he had a recent spin on the flat.

There was a victory for him in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket 42 days ago, so he is coming in hot and will look to resume positively over the hurdles.

There is a quote of 6/5 on Buzz to pick up the victory* (odds recorded at 17:35 GMT on November 19th, 2021 at 888sport).

Can Goshen put in the big challenge?

GOSHEN is looking for a revival. He has proven before to be a tremendous talent, but he struggled last season.

There was a big positive for him when he delivered the win in the Kingwell at Wincanton, destroying the challenge of Song For Someone on the day.

That looked like being the big spark that Goshen needed to get himself back on top of his game.

But his two follow-ups last season were very poor.

He never had a say in the Champion Hurdle or at a Punchestown Grade 1 (Irish Champion Hurdle).

Goshen, therefore has became a little hit and miss.

But if he is refreshed and enjoys coming back up on a trip, he can get himself firmly in the mix and is a quote of 7/2 for the win* (odds recorded at 17:35 GMT on November 19th, 2021 at 888sport).

Song For Someone looks to defend his crown

There was an easy and impressive win for SONG FOR SOMEONE in last year’s renewal of The Ascot Hurdle, so he can’t be easily dismissed.

Notably, after that win, he picked up another success for the season at Cheltenham in a Grade 2 contest.

That follow up confirmed he was thriving.

Looking back, Song For Someone just tore it up 12 months ago but does need a little bit of a bounceback.

On his final run of the previous campaign, he went to Aintree and ran very poorly behind winner Buzz.

That may have just been a blip at the end of a productive season and Song For Someone has undergone a wind up during his break.

He’s not to be discounted at 11/2* (odds recorded at 17:35 GMT on November 19th, 2021 at 888sport).

Molly Olly’s Wishes should go well

Adding even more depth to this field is MOLLY OLLY’S WISHES. She picked straight up where she left off last season by winning at Wetherby three weeks ago.

That was a very pleasing appearance performance by the mare on a 2m trip.

So she comes up in distance for Saturday but is just as effective at these longer trips.

Molly Olly’s Wishes was highly progressive last season, collecting a hattrick at one point.

Given that Goshen and Song For Someone do have questions to answer, there could be a chance here for her.

Molly Olly’s Wishes is at 13/2 in horse racing betting* (odds recorded at 17:35 GMT on November 19th, 2021 at 888sport).

Guard Your Dreams

The final contender to look at in THe Ascot Hurdle horse racing betting is GUARD YOUR DREAMS who is at 7/1* (odds recorded at 17:35 GMT on November 19th, 2021 at 888sport).

There’s really nothing wrong with his form, although this looks like a big rise that he needs to find in terms of ability.

This is a tough jump up in grade.

Guard Your Dreams were last seen taking a win at Cheltenham in a handicap a month ago.

Add to that some progressive wins from his novice campaign and he looks like he could enjoy himself in this sphere.

But Saturday may just prove to be a little tough.

Predictions & Tips for The Ascot Hurdle Racing Odds

The fact that BUZZ went out and delivered the victory on the level at the Cesarewitch puts him right at the head of preferences here.

He’s match sharp and enjoyed a very good progressive campaign last season.

There should be a lot more to come and he receives 6lb from last year’s winner Song For Someone.

MOLLY OLLY’S WISHES looks well worth considering for this contest at 6/1* (odds recorded at 17:35 GMT on November 19th, 2021 at 888sport).

She was really on the up last season and picked up where she left off with a very good recent win.

GOSHEN is talented but was poor the last two times, so the final shortlist spot goes to last year’s winner SONG FOR SOMEONE.

He has a proven track record fresh and his final effort of last season can be overlooked.
