Chacun Pour Soi 5/6 FAV in Tingle Creek Chase Racing Odds
There is a clear market leader in Tingle Creek betting for Saturday and that’s CHACUN POUR SOI at 5/6* (odds recorded at 21:02 GMT on December 3rd, 2021 at 888sport).
There is no question about the class of the 9-year-old who makes his reappearance after having been on a break since April.
In that final run of the previous campaign Chacun Pour Soi took a win at the Punchestown Champion Chase, a comfortable score it was too.
That was a big return to form after suffering a defeat in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival the month previous.
At his best, it is hard to see anyone in this field getting the better of him.
After tearing up the Punchestown field, Chacun Pour Soi is the clear one to beat on the form. It’s going to be all about the multiple Grade 1 winner being tuned up fresh.
Can Nube Negra turn the tables on rival?
NUBE NEGRA was beaten by Chacun Pour Soi in the Punchestown Champion Chase back in April.
It was a third-place finish that Nube Negra took in that one.
That was after finishing ahead of that rival in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham, Nube Negra taking second there.
It wasn’t a clean run-in that Nube Negra got at the Festival either.
He was just a long way short of that kind of form in that rematch against the rival at Punchestown.

If the ground dries out a little further then Nube Negra’s chance will get better.
Greaneteen not to be dismissed

He is a class chasing act just like Nube Negra and does have winning form here at Sandown.
Earlier this year Greatness scored a course and distance success in the Celebration Chase.
Connections will no doubt have made the Tingle Creek the big priority for Greaneteen this early in the season on the back of that.
He was also a runner-up in last year’s edition of this race.
Back in the Spring, he was in top nick as well. Plus he should be that much sharper in terms of match fitness, because of a reappearance run at Exeter a month ago.
Greateneen is more than capable of making his presence felt, although he is up against two very strong rivals.
Captain Guinness is on track
There was a very encouraging reappearance made by CAPTAIN GUINNESS a month ago.
He picked up a win in a Grade 3 contest at Naas. He looks like a good chaser and this could be a big season of progress for him in this sphere.
Captain Guinness did take a third-place finish in the Arkle last season, but for all the world this looks like a big ask despite him being on track.

Hitman with a lot to find
HITMAN makes his second run for Paul Nicholls on Saturday after opening the season with a good second-place finish.
That was a very credible effort in the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter a month ago.
Hitman was shaping up very well in novice chases last season.
So there could be fair progress to be made from him this season if he can build on that. The tongue strap goes on for the first time on Saturday.
All credit is due that connections have put him in this, but he looks to have a lot to prove in this kind of company and is a 14/1 Tingle Creek odds option* (odds recorded at 21:02 GMT on December 3rd, 2021 at 888sport).
Predictions & Tips for Tingle Creek Chase Racing Odds
The basic way to look at this is if CHACUN POUR SOI is anywhere near his best from fresh on Saturday, then he should dominate.
He has looked so good and just shredded that Punchestown Champion Chase field. There was disappointment at the Cheltenham Festival when he failed as the favourite, but on his day he looks unstoppable.
GREANETEEN is not to be underestimated in this field at all from 7/1* (odds recorded at 21:02 GMT on December 3rd, 2021 at 888sport). That C&D win this year and a runner-up spot in last year’s Tingle Creek could put him in this.
The obvious selection for the shortlist is NUBE NEGRA. He is a good, smart chaser and has gotten the better of Chacun Pour Soi before. He’s in hot form after an impressive Grade 2 success last time out.
