Today’s Horse Racing Tip

This is a really competitive fixture. BOUGHTBEFORELUNCH was impressive in scoring by a long-distance last time out at Ludlow. He comes up 7lb for that.

BBOLD returned to form immediately on his reappearance at Ludlow to claim a third-place finish there in April. The cheekpieces go back on and he is a threat.

But we are just going with EMPIRE DE MAULDE at 4/1 as a horse racing tip* (betting odds recorded 18:37 GMT on June 10th 2021 at William Hill).

He was a little unfortunate to bump into a hot one here last month. That was a reappearance run a month ago for Empire De Maulde so there should be more to come.

This is a step up in trip for him as well which is going to play to his favour even more.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

This is another wide-open affair that we are looking at from Aintree on Friday.

We are going with 11/2 shot ROAR as our racing tip* (betting odds recorded 18:37 GMT on June 10th 2021 at William Hill).

He picked up a good score at Fakenham three weeks ago on his latest run. That was on a 2m trip.

It was a sharp one as well but he handled it better than expected and gave a good nod to his versatility.

Nice de Boinville gets the ride which should further boost the claims of Roar for Friday. There is a 5lb rise for him to deal with, but he is firmly on the radar.

FIESOLE is of interest as well as he makes his reappearance and goes for a new yard for the first time.

The other that could have a say in this one is CADDYHILL who has scored in two of his last three and is still low mileage.

There is only a 3lb rise for Caddyhill on the back of his latest score at Bangor last month.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

We think that veteran DUKE OF NAVAN is worth a look in this one at 9/2* (betting odds recorded 18:37 GMT on June 10th 2021 at William Hill).

It’s been three runs this year and all three of them have been solid efforts as well. The 13-year-old has slid a further 2lb in the ratings after a second-place at Stratford last month.

That was after a little break and he could be sharper for it and is certainly not off the radar for this kind of contest.

A couple that could make him work hard for this are MISS AMELIA who was behind Duke Of Navan last month at Stratford, along with BALLYVIC BORU who scored at Wetherby in October from this mark. He should be better for a recent appearance at Kelso.

GILT EDGE could show well in those on under a 5lb penalty. She is a quote of 4/1 to get the score in a competitive field* (betting odds recorded 18:37 GMT on June 10th 2021 at William Hill).

Given the form that she produced 10 days ago to win at Lingfield, another bold effort looks fairly certain.

Even with the penalty she looks very well treated and she does carry a 3lb claimer as well. That was a nice step forward for the season from her last time out.

Further success could easily be forthcoming from her. Another to watch is GREY GALLEON who claimed an excellent place finish at Salisbury recently and sits on a dangerous mark.

She is running up to form right now and returns to action after a short 10-day turnaround on the same mark.

That latest run saw Libertine Belle collect a runner-up spot at Lingfield and it was a fine run from her.

She retains the headgear that helped there and looks on a ripe mark from which to score here.

Principal threats to her at CHLOHOLTEEN who produced a nice handicap debut last time out, and LIBERTY BAY who stays as the same mark from a fourth-place at Leicester 10 days ago.

QUENELLE D’OR is the 5/2 horse racing tip for this one* (betting odds recorded 18:37 GMT on June 10th 2021 at William Hill).

She was put into Listed company last time out and that was a little too strong for her. That was in the Cheshire Oaks 37 days ago.

So her sights are lowered for this one and she looks in a good place from which to score. Before that Cheshire Oaks effort, she had scored over 1m 3f at Kempton.

So we don’t feel that she can be overlooked for this contest. END RESULT is a threat here after an eye-catching run to take a third-place finish at Newmarket.

There will be a slight question mark over the latter selection about the quicker ground conditions that are likely to be in play on Friday.

THAI TERRIER is going to be chanced in this one at 5/2* (betting odds recorded 18:37 GMT on June 10th 2021 at William Hill).

He picked up a win at Carlisle last time out after the field let him get to the front and go. They badly paid for that.

That continued some good form that had seen him go over course and distance on his penultimate run.

We can see him getting back in the frame again. ISPAHAN looks like the obvious threat, despite not running smoothly to score at Brighton three weeks ago.

He comes back up on a trip that could settle his form just a little more and see him get close again.
