STRADIVARIUS is in action on Friday in this Group 2 contest as he is the odds-on favourite to land the win.
He has gone well fresh before and as one of the greatest stayers of his generation, he could sweep his way to success.
Stradivarius ended last season third behind Trueshan in Ascot’s Long Distance Cup in October.
The former Group 1 winner has five wins from five at York, including two wins in this race.
SEARCH FOR A SONG should be better for her reappearance and receives weight from the rest of the field.
This is a very good mare who won the Irish Leger a couple of times.
Her runner up spot at Navan at this distance last month makes her the biggest threat to Stradivarius.
TASHKHAN is the final one on the shortlist after a fifth-place finish at the Sagaro Stakes a couple of weeks ago.
It turns out that he needed that reappearance run given the way he performed. Tashkhan should be sharper.

MIAMI GIRL looks like a tremendous prospect after picking up a win on her debut a couple of weeks ago.
With some fantastic breeding and the score at Newmarket, she looks as if she can build on from the big impression that she made.
YAHSAT is worth a look in this wide-open contest after picking up a win at Pontefract 16 days ago.
That was her second racetrack appearance and put in a good turn of speed to get it.
The form from that race reads well for Yahsat and she could be a player.
PILLOW TALK is the final one of the shorts here as she was a very expensive fill.
She’s another with excellent breeding and a runner up finish at Nottingham a couple of weeks on her debut gives her plenty to build on.
CARMELA, DAYTONA LADY and FIX YOU are others that warrant plenty of interest in this fascinating field of juveniles.

GRANDE DAME picked up a win on her debut after shrugging off some greenness to score at Ascot.
Connections clearly think highly of her as she has an entry for the Coronation Stakes. There has to be plenty more to come.
GIRL ON FIRM looked good in taking a win at Newmarket in August on her debut.
On her follow up she was sent to the Rockfel and was the best of the youngsters there, taking a fifth-place finish against some experienced runners.
PERFECT NEWS has more experience than anyone else in this field which could help her get into the frame.
Perfect News was fourth at the Nell Gwyn last month on her reappearance.
She was fourth in that race in a race won by the 1000 Guineas winner Cachet.

BELLOCCIO landed a score last time out, picking the victory up in April which was a reappearance run and handicap debut.
He looked to have a good attitude in that one. Belloccio comes up 5lb that one and could get in this.
Last season he did struggle at the Group level, but this is likely to be well in his range.
ROGUE BEAR has run well on both of his efforts this season and looks as if he could be a big player in this one.
It was two third-place finishes from Rogue Bear, the first of these was in the Lincoln at Doncaster, not having a great draw.
Rogue Bear looks as if he will have the extra distance in him after going well again last time out in the Spring Cup.
SUMMA PETO showed some good form at the end of last season, taking his tally of wins to three at Wolverhampton on his penultimate.
He was unfortunate to meet a very well-handicapped one on his follow-up, but Summa Peto fought well for second. He could make his presence felt.

EXCELERATOR EXPRESS comes down 3lb now after taking a fifth a month ago on his latest.
That was a course and distance effort. There was winning form from Excelerator Express last season, taking a couple of chase wins.
TILE TAPPER looks to complete a double as he comes back refreshed after a break of 76 days.
That victory was claimed at Chepstow on a much shorter 2m 4f trip.
There has been a big rise of 9lb for Tile Tapper on Friday and could enjoy this longer distance.
MAGNA SAM is the final one for the shortlist in what a competitive-looking handicap chase it has to be said.
He missed out on completing a hattrick on his latest run.
But he wasn’t disgraced on that effort with a third at Carlisle in March. A little break could have perked Magna Sam up nicely again.

IBIZA ROCKS looks like being well in this contest as he returns fitter for a reappearance urn.
He was at Newmarket on his return, not really exerting the most control, but this represents a drop in distance.
Ibiza Rocks did go well in a couple of handicaps last season as he looks to add to the only win of his career so far, a maiden as a juvenile.
SILVER SAMURAI has done well enough this season to warrant plenty of respect, especially with top jockey William Buick booked.
Silver Samurai scored last June and was returned to this 6f distance last time out at Ascot a week ago. His third in that gives him a chance.
MITROSONFIRE was good last season taking four handicaps at the 6f distance.
His last winning mark was just 1lb higher.
Mitrosonfire was last seen in October last year, not finding the conditions to his liking at course and distance.
