Today’s horse racing tips for Friday come from Ascot, Newmarket and York as we gear up for a big weekend.
It’s actually King George weekend from Ascot, with Saturday featuring the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes.
For Friday’s action, we look at three selections from Ascot before moving on to further flat picks from the other two venues.

MOSTLY CLOUDY looks to be the one to beat in this contest as he extended his winning streak to four last time out.
The colt scored on an extended 2m trip at Doncaster three weeks ago. In it, he got up late on to score under Tom Marquand who is back in the saddle.
Mostly Cloudy receives another 6lb and moves up in class, but he’s thriving right now and still commands plenty of respect.
BAILEYS DERBYDAY has produced some consistent form lately but has gone winless in five now.
He wasn’t far away at Kempton from this very same mark last time out. That gives him a decent shot at the money again.
SINGLE has shown improvement in form the last twice, in particular when she went close at Sandown in a runners-up finish.
Her follow-up effort was miserable, but there could have been excuses there for it. Single has been eased 1lb and this track may be more suitable for her.

THE WHIPMASTER is red hot at the moment and is seeking a fifth straight win.
He will have to get that after being pushed up a further 6lb, but it is still not out of the question.
The Whipmaster delivered a win following a rise in class at Windsor last time out.
There is probably still more to come but with another 6lb bump, this will be more demanding for the colt.
COMMONSENSICAL has been in great form this season, and he is really progressing well now.
It’s been two wins in four runs during this campaign, the latest coming at Newmarket a couple of weeks ago.
Commonsensical kept on superbly well in that contest and with a 5lb claimer on his back, has every chance.
JUAN DE MONTALBAN will pique some interest in horse racing tips as well as he landed a course and distance score in May.
He ran well here at Ascot last month in the Copper House, without getting near a win.
The drop in trip should help Juan De Montalban with a push for a place finish.

GLAMOROUS BREEZE hasn’t put a foot wrong lately and was able to build on some good progressive form to score last time out.
She got back to winning ways with a win at Chepstow in an apprentice handicap eight days ago.
There’s no penalty and with a 5lb claimer easing the load even further, there is a reasonable chance of a follow-up for Glamorous Breeze on Friday.
RATTLING looks like a decent filly and after placing in her first two runs, got off the mark in May at Wolverhampton.
She has been rested since then and she drops down to the minimum distance for Friday. Rattling is unexposed and well worth a look.
LUCKY AVA is the final one on the shortlist for horse racing tips on Friday for this contest.
She picked up a win at Chelmsford last month, delivering a good finish.
She’s yet to prove her form on the turf and is up 3lb but place claims exist for Lucky Ava.

AL MARMAR has won two of four runs this season and the 3-year-old is on the up at the moment.
The latest win was at Ascot just a couple of weeks ago. He did a great job of battling his way back into contention and will go well at a hot pace.
BULLACE rattled the crossbar on a 7f trip here at Newmarket recently and therefore warrants some respect.
That runners-up finish was the best effort of the season by him so far and the blinkers, which are retained, seemed to have the effect.
DTUCH DECOY was a winner last time out as well, making the most of a falling mark to land the win at Hamilton.
He’s not the easiest to catch right as he’s been highly unpredictable. But a follow-up from that last effort could at least get him in the frame and he’s helped by a 3lb claimer.

Race Preview
JUDITH puts her unbeaten record on the line in this competitive race at York on Friday.
She looks to be going places after wins at Ascot and Newmarket. Judith had plenty to spare last time out as well.
She now makes a move up in grade but is likely to be heavily involved with her smooth running style.
POPTRONIC warrants respect after improving extremely well from a runners-up finish on her debut.
Potpronic has completed a hat trick since, the latest win coming at Newcastle in a Group 3.
There is probably even further to come from her and can put a good show together on Friday.
PEARL BEACH was beaten by Poptronic in a Group 3 last time out. But tables could be turned.
Pearl Beach is 8lb better off against that rival on Saturday, which is huge. She may have the finish in her at this shorter distance to get close.

MARCHING ARMY makes a reappearance run and will be seeking a hat-trick in it.
He came on strongly last season as a 3-year-old. Top connections should have him primed for a bid here.
The return to turf puts him on the radar for horse racing tips in what is a competitive field.
LUCANDER was nowhere near his best last time out when he was seen at Windsor. A slow pace got the best of him.
But there was a victory for him on his penultimate when he was eased in class in a spin at Windsor.
Lucander is a former course and distance winner as well. It’s a solid record that he holds at York so enters calculations.
SPIRIT DANCER is another that warrants some respect in this one and took a good runners-up finish at Newcastle in May.
A fourth place finish two weeks ago in the John Smith’s Cup at the course and distance in a big field, gives him huge claims.
Spirit Dancer gets a raise of 1lb which looks fair and this is a much easier assignment for him.
