Has has produced some fine form this season and the 8 year old looks to have plenty more to offer. There was a score for Ibleo on his latest run.

That was at Sandown and it came after back to back runners up finishes at Ascot and Cheltenham. In current form, Ibleo is the one that sets the standard.

THE BIG BITE should have enough to get into the frame and push close for a score. He scored on a reappearance run at Aintree. S

o he too will be expected to push on from there. There is a 5lb rise in the ratings that he will be detailing with.

But that’s two wins from four trips over the fences so far from him.

LITTLE LIGHT is the other for considerations in this fixture. She picked up a win in March at Southwell at the end of the campaign.

She needed a recent trip at Fontwell under her belt, in which she took third.

That was almost four months ago, but Little Light should step forward from that effort well enough.

She scored well on her debut over the hurdles. The big claims come from that success being over course and distance.

Progressive got that win a month ago and should be back with plenty to offer.

She is the most experienced runner in this field and scored a hattrick in listed company at Taunton a month ago.

Talking About You gives everyone else 5lb but is a big player.

MEGAN is going to be the other name for the selection. She opened with a hurdles debut at Leicester.

She was then behind Talking About You and Her Indoors at Aintree, but we liked how well she ran in that one and could easily turn the tables.

Arabescato battled well to come from behind in the field to get that score as well.

After all the work to get himself in the frame he just held on. That’s two wins for him now and he stays with jockey Adam Kirby for this one.

CAFE MILAN is of interest as well in the contest. There was a third place finish for him last time which was here at Lingfield.

This is a decent mark that he is sitting on as he looks to break maiden on the flat after 16 previous attempts.

But that was a marked improvement last time out for him.

She is low mileage and was last seen a couple of weeks ago at course and distance when he took third of five in a seller.

He had the visor on for the first time in that one which he retains for this contest. So he should be well in the mix.

After a score on his penultimate trip, he followed up with a brilliant win at Market Rasen.

That was a shorter distance but she played herself into a very nice position in that one. There should be more to come.

HERMOCRATES has finished second in his two runs this year. The latest of those was at Newcastle two weeks ago.

So the five year old has produced consistency without question. But can he get across the line first?

Another of the key players in this contest could be KOZIER who improved to get a third-place finish at Kempton a couple of weeks ago.

That was on a 2-mile trip. The cheekpieces are on for the first time which could see even more from him.

STAR DREAMER will be the other for the shortlist here. There was a third place finish for the filly 17 days ago at Newcastle.

She is still a maiden, but based on that latest effort she is going to be better suited to this longer trip.
