Fontwell and Warwick are in focus on Thursday for today’s horse racing tips. So that brings six selections for the day from over the jumps.
The pick of the day’s action is a Class 3 handicap hurdle from Fontwell which is where we will kick things off.

MANUCCI looks like being well in the thick of things in this handicap action on Thursday. This will be the first run for a while in this sphere.
It was about 2 years ago here at Fontwell that Manucci got himself off the mark in this sphere. He hasn’t been seen in a national hunt action since January when he pulled up at Kempton.
But Manucci should be sharp having had a trip on the level at Goodwood 26 days ago, which should see him go well on a return to hurdles.
ALRIGHTJACK poses a threat in the field as well. He rediscovered a nice bit of form with a course and distance second on his reappearance in May.
That was his first run following a wind operation. He backed that up with a solid third at Uttoxeter.
The other to watch for the shortlist in horse racing betting is EARTH BUSINESS who takes on the handicapping sphere for the first time.
He struggled a little bit on his reappearance over the hurdles at Chepstow last month. That was too short and too quick of a race for him. Earth Business should do better here.

DAME DU SOIR gets on the shortlist in this one after one previous trip over the fences last season. After that, she was moved back to the hurdles where she struggled for form.
But she returns on a fair mark after a break of 8 months and a wind op.
There may be something in this for Dame Du Soir if she can recapture the kind of form she showed on her chase debut.
SHUT THE BOX could get involved in this one as well. He makes his reappearance as he looks to pick his form back up.
The 7 year old pulled in his last effort which was six months ago. That flew in the face of the kind of form that he had been in before that. Shut The Box has enough to get involved.
Another to watch is ON THE WILD SIDE who claimed back to back hurdles wins last season on 2m trips.
On his return this season, On The Wild Side moved into chasing for the first time.
That didn’t pan out with him losing his rider. He looks to be on a fair mark for another attempt and is worth revisiting.

IMPHAL could prove to be the one to beat in this contest. He broke through for his first win over the hurdles two weeks ago.
That was a score at Ludlow in a handicap and had enough in the tank to just pull away at the end.
That was a good positive ride and Imphal looks to have a good chance of pushing on for another success.
THE TIN MINER has gone close in a couple of course and distance handicaps before, so he can’t be written out of this.
He was last seen in May when he got things together well to take a fourth-place finish at Worcester. The Tin Miner should be in the frame.
LELANTOS struggled to get going last time out but may have some place claims in this one.
There was a good handicap hurdle effort from him at Uttoxeter in June. Like most of the rest in this field, he will probably have to find more to get the score on the board.

With a win in all four runs undertaken this season, TOMMIE BEAU is expected to rate as a danger again. He has a 7lb penalty with him.
He has just been getting better and was successful nine days ago at Fakenham on a shorter 3m trip. That was after a break of 5 months.
It got the four-timer complete and even under that 7lb penalty, Tommie Beau is in superb heart at the moment and is a big contender back in this sphere.
HOOT AT MIDNIGHT could get in this, despite her still being a maiden. There have been some good efforts from her recently.
Hoot At Midnight was fourth in a good run at Bangor on her latest effort, the mare keeping on well in that one.
She stays at the same mark and brings place claims.
The other to get on the shortlist is FIRST ASSEMBLY who makes a reappearance.
He is still a maiden but he did show signs of getting closer to breaking that in the previous campaign.
First Assembly was fourth at Huntingdon on his chasing debut in March and has been absent since then.

This is a strong competitive race and the first one to go on the shortlist is REPUBLICAN who is still low mileage on a return to chasing.
He did not get a victory on the board in the previous campaign but was unlucky on his final effort.
Republican was in the mix before going down at the last over the hurdles at Perth in April. He should be there.
BALI BODY is another who looks to offer a strong challenge. He was on the up last season, picking up a victory in a Hereford maiden on his penultimate.
Bali Body backed that up very well then with a handicap debut second-place finish at Carlisle.
He looks built for chasing and rates a big danger.
THE NEWEST ONE brings winning form to the table. He scored a month ago on a run at Newton Abbot after a break of 5 months.
It was a good jumping performance that he delivered in that one and probably has a lot more to offer in this sphere.

MERCUTIO ROCK is an interesting player in this one. He makes the move to handicapping for the first time after a break of about 11 months.
He did look good at Uttoxeter on his final run last season. That was on a 2m trip and Mercutio Rock won with some credit.
It was a couple of very credible efforts over the smaller stuff last year for him.
FRED BEAR can get in the mix on his move to the handicaps as well. He made all to pick up a win at Stratford in August in a juvenile contest.
There was no great follow up from him because he made a poor mistake on a run at Plumpton after that.
Fred Bear isn’t to be discounted out of this having been pushed into handicapping quickly.
FIRST QUEST is a key contender in his one with two wins in his last three runs. Those victories were at Carmetlan and then Wincanton 12 days ago.
Considering First Quest escaped a penalty, he should rate a big danger at Warwick on Thursday.
There’s no doubt he is thriving once again with four very good constructive efforts under his belt.
