KANNAPOLIS gets on the shortlist for this contest as he has been carrying some good form recently.
He returned from a long break to take a runner-up spot at Kempton 49 days ago.
There has been a 2lb rise for that.
Kannapolis ended last season on the up and has only been outside of the top six in one of his last six appearances.
MICK MAESTRO took a win here at Catterick three weeks ago, which saw him bounce back to top form.
He had only produced average-at-best efforts before that this season.
But this could be a good time to take another look at him as he comes up 5lb.
TIMBERMAN is on a career-high market at the moment thanks to a victory at Kempton when he was last seen.
That was 84 days ago and it followed a very good third-place finish in a strong Cheltenham handicap before that. Timberman has the finish in him to get involved.

OMAR MARETTI looks a good fit for this race as he looks to still have plenty of progress to come.
It’s been superb stuff from him already after taking a win in a novices handicap at Newcastle a month ago.
Omar Maretti comes up with only 3lb for that and should be right back in the frame of things.
AL MAZHAR GARDE also warrants respect in this fixture after a credible runner up spot in a handicap chase here at Catterick last time out.
He’s not the most consistent of sorts but the attitude of Almazhar Garde was spot on last time out.
If he can back that up, then he could have a chance despite being moved up 2lb, but the drop in trip should help.
WINDS OF FIRE took a facile victory at Newcastle in November, a good chase victory that was.
He was a very progressive one over the hurdles last season and worth another look in this sphere.
He eased 2lb from a below-par effort last time out, but Winds Of Fire can’t be written out.

FULL OF LIGHT has to be looked at for this one, as coming from a top yard, his class is starting to show through.
Full Of Light picked up a course and distance victory in December on what was his handicap debut.
There’s only a 5lb rise for Full Of Light which he looks like he can handle.
WHISTLEINTHEDARK could have more to come as he makes his handicap debut on Monday.
He has built a progressive profile over the hurdles so far and scored his first success two months ago when he went over course and distance.
VORASHANN was last seen taking on a flat effort which he was runner-up 38 days ago. He had the blinkers on for the first time there.
Last September Vorashann did score a handicap hurdle win at Fontwell, where his best form is, but he could feature on Monday.

LE COEUR NET was a faller at Chepstow last time out and was being well held at the time.
But he did claim a couple of wins last year and generally goes well at Plumpton.
Le Coeur Net is set on a mark that should give him a chance.
EARLY DU LEMO was fourth at Chepstow five weeks ago on his latest appearance.
He wasn’t at his best in that one and hasn’t been for a while. But he is another who should have a chance given a low mark.
RED HAPPY couldn’t complete last time out at Sandown on what was his first run in Britain.
But he has gone away for a win in the last month and this is a much easier contest than that Sandown one.

NATE THE GREAT will probably put together another good run as he has been in good heart the last twice.
The course and distance went close here a month ago in a small field handicap.
He was only narrowly touched off.
CHIPIRON is up 2lb after picking up a win here at Wolverhampton in a handicap two weeks ago.
That was the second win of the season for him, and his third at this venue.
Another bold effort can be expected.
Zeeband can’t be totally ruled out of this, despite not going too well at Kempton on his debut for a new yard last time out.
He is a useful one and took a runner up at the Northumberland Plate last summer.
Zeeband may have a chance if he puts things together.

That was at Lingfield 16 days ago in a small field and he had plenty in hand in taking the win as well.
CIVIL LAW took a course and distance win a month ago, and looked very comfortable in the effort.
There has been a 2lb rise for him and should be heavily involved if he can back up that run.
SOCIETY RED is worth a look at well. He was a three-time winner last year and opened this year with a score.
A very competent effort to take the consolation spot in a course and distance effort a month ago, saw him stay very competitive.
