The York Ebor Festival starts on Wednesday, so the waters are calmer in the build-up to that. Monday’s racing doesn’t get above Class 3.

SILKS PASS may get in the frame on Monday after taking a third-place finish at Chelmsford City three weeks ago.
That was after being moved back down in distance. Silks Pass looked to be travelling very well in the contest and may have a chance to go better.
JILLY COOPER has been in consent form all season, even though she is on a long winless streak of form.
She hasn’t got on the board in 20220. Jilly Cooper has not been outside the top three in the last five spins and was a runner-up at Newmarket 10 days ago.
RAJMEISTER looks like the other big player in this contest, even though he needs a bounce back.
He was a little off-colour last time out at Kempton in a handicap. But the season’s prior form puts him in a good light.

DYNAMIC TALENT opened his account this season with a victory at Kempton in March.
Last time out he was a good runner-up in a competitive Kempton handicap 12 days ago. Dynamic Talent was well clear of anyone else behind him.
PAPA COCKTAIL is also shortlisted material after a third place finish at the course and distance earlier this month.
He was taken out by an in-form rival in that contest. Papa Cocktail comes up 2lb for that, but connections turn to a good claimer to combat that.
Papa Cocktail looks to be on a very good mark and should be right in the mix in this handicap.
ATTENTIVE claimed a victory last time out, which was at course and distance. So she has claims.
That victory was back in January and since then she has changed yards. Attentive is low mileage and is an interesting one for racing tips.

MALINA OCARINA has continued in good form this season, taking a runner-up spot in two of three efforts.
She has been in sturdy form, continuously performing well.
Malina Ocarina was a runner-up at Stratford a month ago and fills a spot on the shortlist.
SEVENOFUS was a third-place finisher at Worcester in a handicap hurdle 25 days ago.
That was a good effort from here in this sphere. Sevenofus comes in 3lb from out of the weights but warrants some respect.
LEADING THEATRE is another with reasonable claims in this one as she moves over to handicapping on Monday.
She was a dual bumper winner and got off the mark over the hurdles at Ffos Las on her penultimate. The follow-up at Uttoxeter was good in defeat.

ELIOS D’OR claimed a score at Ludlow back in May and has been in decent form since then.
He was competitive in taking a runners-up finish three weeks ago at Worcester in a handicap chase.
Elios D’Or has been eased 1lb and should be a player on Monday.
SHAREEF STAR is seeking a hattrick in current form and therefore is clear shortlist material.
The latest of those wins was taken at course and distance.
The handicapper has given Shareff Star an extra 6lb to work with but he’s still a big threat.
BOB’S BAR gets a 7lb rise for a fantastic performance at Worcester last month. He’s also won before at Bangor.
The victory at Worcester wasn’t a clean round from Bob’s Bar who hit the last. He’s got the stamina to make a big impact.

RAFIKI has shown plenty of promise so far on the two racetrack appearances that he has made.
He scored at hurdles debut at Stratford and then was a good second at course and distance last time out.
Rafiki makes a handicap debut on Monday.
LONG CALL was supremely impressive when he scored by a whopping distance of 14 lengths last month.
There’s a price for that and he gets a 12lb rise. That clearly makes it tougher. But a similar form should get him in there.
STATE CROWN may have an each-way chance on Monday in this one after producing some decent form this season.
He claimed a win on his penultimate effort which was at Newton Abbot.
State Crown struggled on a longer trip last time out. This is within range.

There has been in good form by him all season. He was last seen at Cartmel a month ago and was fourth.
Charlie Uberalles is a bold jumper and should be heavily involved.
FAROUK DE CHENEAU tackles the 3m trip for the first time in his career. He may have it in him.
Farouk Dey Cheney has been holding his stamina very well on shorter distances. This is also his chasing bow and is interesting for a top yard.
AVIEWTOSEA should player a big part in his small-field contest as well. He opened the season with a win on his chase debut at Uttoxeter in June.
He followed that up with a runner-up at the same venue. Everyone else in the field was well behind him.
