Today’s horse racing tips to kick off the new week dip into some calmer waters.
For Monday, it’s Ayr and Cartmel that are in focus, with Beverley and Windsor having been abandoned.

QUEST FOR FUN has been enjoying himself lately having won the last twice and is firmly on the up.
The most recent of his victories was posted at course and distance two weeks ago.
That was by a neck, but Quest For Fun did superbly to work his way into it from an unfavourable position.
There could be even more to come for him, and he was ahead of a big chunk of these same rivals, including Aberama Gold.
ABERAMA GOLD naturally piques some interest in this one as he was a very close second to Quest For Fun at course and distance.
He is a former course and distance winner and will naturally bring some reasonable each-way claims.
SNASH last picked up a victory at Thirsk on his penultimate fixture. He did a good job last time out in a handicap at York.
It was a fourth-place finish for Snash in that one having found himself out of position. He’s another with reasonable place claims.
CALL ME GINGER is another that warrants some respect and is another of the many course and distance winners in this pack.
He took a win here most recently in June. Call Me Ginger was in touch when taking third behind winner Quest For Fun at C&D two weeks ago.

DIAMONDONTHEHILL gets on the shortlist for today’s racing tips after a good runners-up spot last time.
That was at Thirsk three weeks ago.
Diamondonthehill comes up 1lb, but there was a nice third place finish for him earlier this year on a 1m trip at the venue.
BRAZEN BOLT saw a run of good finishes come to an end when he was well down the field at York 9 days ago.
A line can be drawn through that as nothing went his way in the fixture. Brazen Bolt won three of six runs last year.
It has been another very good season by him, including a win at Newmarket in May. A bounce back happening is easy to see.
GOLDEN APOLLO is the other player in this one and there was a victory recorded by him on his penultimate run.
He made the most of a falling mark to get that score at Haydock a couple of weeks ago in the Silver Cup.
A poor draw undid him at York last time out, but there are strong claims.

LARRY LOOBY could feature in his wide-open contest as he has just run himself into some brilliant form.
It’s been back-to-back wins at Hexham and then here at course and distance last time out.
Larry Looby has been handed an extra 8lb as he goes for the hattrick.
GAME LINE is very well rated and brings some form after going close at Worcester in a handicap chase three weeks ago.
While Game Line is on a losing streak at the moment, that latest run hints that he could be close to breaking it. He’s weighted to go well.
DEE STAR is the other main player to consider in horse racing tips in this one and she is a former course and distance winner.
That C&D score was landed in May and since then he has followed up with back-to-back runners-up spots.
If this isn’t too soon, having run just two days ago, Dee Star should be in the mix.

LERMOOS LEGEND has taken four wins in his last six efforts and can easily add to his tally.
There was a course and distance win for him on his penultimate run. The follow-up to that was pretty good as well.
Lermoos Legend was a second-place finisher at Uttoxeter three weeks ago, not quite jumping as cleanly as he can.
SIR TIVO is up 2lb for having picked up a victory at Stratford last month. He’s still on a competitive mark.
Sir Tivo was great over the fences last season and warrants plenty of respect.
He really hasn’t put a foot wrong in his last three efforts so will make his presence felt.
DR SANDERSON fills out the shortlist for horse racing tips as he is 6lb higher after scoring here last month.
He clearly arrives in rude health because of that, and this is a shorter distance that he takes on.
There were a couple of chase wins last season for Dr Sanderson.

ZAMOND was a runner-up last time out, showing a nice return to form this spring.
It’s been back-to-back second-place finishes for him and he arrives recharged after a short break so can probably get there.
JACKHAMMER as the back of the form in this one after back-to-back wins. He stays fresh from a recent spin on the flat two weeks ago.
Jackhammer claimed two handicap hurdles victories earlier this year, both 2m trips at Perth.
Now back hurdling after his run on the level, he rates as a big danger.
THE RESDEV WAY is another that should be nice and sharp after a run on the flat 11 days ago. He was placed in that one.
The most recent hurdles effort for The Resdev Way was at Huntingdon in June and he was a third-place finisher there.
He’s 2lb out of the weights but does appear to have some each-way claims.

THATBEATSBANAGHER was a fourth-place finish on a return at Hexham over the fences last time out, which was 72 days ago.
Thatbeatsbanagher was only touched off by a head in that contest.
He should have a chance as she returns at the same mark, recharged.
ANGE ENDORMI was a runner-up at course and distance, getting close to getting off the mark in that one.
He has shown some reasonable form and that recent C&D effort only saw him finish behind one very good one. Ange Ednormi has possibilities.
DAN GUN was a winner on his penultimate run as he scored at the course and distance over a couple of these back in May.
He was third, and a long way back too, of second-placed Ange Endormi when last seen back at C&D three weeks ago.
