Race Preview
CHARGING THUNDER has gone close on each of his last three runs and poses an obvious threat in this one.
He gets the cheekpiece on for the first time on Monday, which could help him out in getting his nose in front.
Charging Thunder is a former course and distance winner, and should be about there, even though he drops his 5lb claimer and comes up 2lb.
KING FRANCIS opened the season with a victory at Kempton in April and has stayed in form in two follow up runs.
With a good second-place finish in the bag at Chelmsford City three weeks ago, he returns at the same mark and could be in the mix.
MARCH LAW gets the cheek pieces on for the first time in this one as connections look for a revival from him.
Things haven’t really kicked into gear for him yet this season, but this is a fairly weak field.
He comes from a top yard and the gear should help get him back on track.

LIVERPOOL KNIGHT scored on his penultimate run of the previous campaign, before signing off with a good place at Chelmsford City.
The break of six months is an obvious concern as he takes on match-fit opponents.
But Liverpool Knight has the first run for a new yard and there’s enough in his form to put him on the shortlist.
TIME INTERVAL should be in this as he has the pick of the current form, including a win last time out.
Time Interval scored at this venue two weeks ago, running smoothly. There has been a 5lb rise, but that’s within his scope, albeit this being a stronger race.
PERCY’S PRIDE warrants a look as well and there were excuses for him on his latest run at Goodwood a couple of weeks ago.
The cheek pieces are going on for the first time and he has scored from this kind of mark before. That makes Percy’s Pride an interesting player here.

LYNN’S BOY has been in the frame in his three runs since opening the season with a win at Southwell in March.
So that’s a good consistent form that he brings to the table.
Lynn’s Boy was last seen taking a third at Newmarket three weeks ago and wears the tongue strap for the first time on Monday.
SPOOF could get in the picture here if he enjoys his return to Windsor, where has scored at C&D before.
He wasn’t in great shape on his latest effort at Pontefract. But he’s slid back to a threatening mark.
COLOMBE opened the season with back to back handicap wins, kicking off in some progressive style.
That form slid backwards with a lacklustre effort from her at Carlisle last time out. But Colombe’s previous form gives her a chance.

AWESOMEDUDE picked up a score three weeks ago in a novice effort at Huntingdon.
That saw him get off the mark in just his third racetrack appearance. So with that big step forward, the son of Australia should have plenty now handicapping.
DUKE OF LUCKLEY is another that brings winning form to proceedings on Monday and he looks likely to get in it.
A month ago he took a course and distance win over the timbers and stayed on fantastically. Duke Of Luckley is up 9lb from that, but still rates as a danger.
ONESOC took a step forward with a credible runner up spot earned at Uttoxeter a week ago.
That was on his handicap debut so there is likely more to come. Onesoc drops back on a trip which should aid his chances.

BRIANNA ROSE took a third place finish a month ago in a handicap here at Southwell.
Form from that race reads very well, so she should be bang there for this contest. She is 2lb down from her last run as she is pushed up in distance.
Brianna Rose is a former winner at Southwell, so this could all come together for her nicely on Monday.
SHORE SHANTY looks as if she will have a big shout now that she is moved up further in distance as well.
She came up 5lb after a good runner up spot at a Worcester handicap hurdle a couple of weeks ago.
MOTION IN LIMINE was a third place finish in a handicap hurdle at Perth a month ago.
That was after a break of six months, so he is entitled to strip fitter for having gotten that under his belt.
Motion In Limine is low mileage and produced some excellent consistent form in the previous campaign.

CUT AND RUN gets the blinkers on for the first time on Monday as she looks to snap a long winless streak over the hurdles.
There was some encouragement from her on her reappearance run here at Southwell three weeks ago.
Cut And Run has slid to a mark where she should at the least, have solid place claims.
THE WILD WILD SEA picked up a course and distance win in April with a victory after a break of four months.
She was last seen a month ago digging out a second-place finish at the line at Ludlow.
With a 7lb claimer, The Wild Wild Sea has a big chance.
SPARKLING DAWN warrants respect as well if she can kick on from an encouraging run last time you.
She was third at Huntington in March on her latest effort. Connections now try the cheek pieces for her return and it’s the first run for a new yard too.
