We kick off a new week with a look at today’s horse racing tips from Ludlow and Musselburgh.
It’s all national hunt picks for the day as well look at some very interesting contests including the Corrie Cup from Ludlow.

This should be a good competitive fixture here, but SWITCH HITTER does look like being a big player here.
He potentially has big things ahead of him in the chasing sphere and improved on his hurdles form, by winning a novice handicap at Hereford on his reappearance
That was lost month, beating Outonpatrol in the process, who he faces again on Monday. That win for Switch Hitter was on this same trip.
SUBCONINTIENT was a faller on his reapapance, which leaves him having failed to complete his last two now.
But there was a 2m handicap chase win for Subcontinent earlier this year, so he has it in him.
Sucontinent also takes a drop in the weights which will help.
FORGOT TO ASK has gone well the last twice, finishing runner up in both.
There has been two victories recorded by Forgot To Ask this year, at Plutmpon and then on Market Rasen on his reaappancae. He should be competitive and bring place claims.

MIRANDA looks like a lively player in this contest after taking a runner up on her reappearance.
That was in a Listed effort at Wetherby, so he sights are lowered for this one. Miranda has taken two course and distance wins before.
There was a conditional jockey on her back when she took the score in last year’s renewal of this race. So she has a big chance.
VOICE OF CALM looks like a big threat as well as she stays on the same mark as she takes on this challenge.
There was a runner up spot for her at Fakenham three weeks ago, wearing the tongue tie for the first time.
Voice Of Calm couldn’t quite find the finish down the straight but was travelling well regardless.
PUFFIN BAY looks like an exciting one. Last month she picked up her first win over the hurdles, which was at Wincanton.
This will be the handicap debut for Puffin Bay on Monday and she looks like she has plenty to bring to the table.
SEE THE SEA can’t be written off in this competitive race either.
She completed a hat trick this season, the opening win in the sequence coming at course and distance.
She was below par in a strange race at Kempton two weeks ago, but is easily good enough to bounce back.

FIRST IMPRESSION was a winner at Wetherby 23 days ago, taking a score in a 2m handicap hurdle there.
That was a superb effort and she produced a wonderful turn of foot to finish the race in style.
There has been a 7lb rise because of that win, but she still looks like being a major threat.
MINELLA PLUS is sitting on a hat trick chance and is just thriving at the moment.
The opening win of those recent successes was at course and distance, followed by a score at Catterick two weeks ago.
Minella Plus comes from a winning yard and can make her presence felt.
The other that could feature on the shortlist for this one is SPIRIT OF THE NORTH.
This will be just the third appearance for him in his sphere but has shown some promise in what he has done over the hurdles so far.
This will be the handicap debut and place claims could be there.

BOOTLEGGER has rattled the crossbar the last twice and is just thriving at the moment.
The latest of his runs was two weeks ago at Uttoxeter where he was well clear of anyone behind him. The cheekpieces go back on and Bootlegger has a big chance.
WAKOOL is a clear threat in this field with two wins in his last three.
He claimed his second win of the campaign after a break of five months over course and distance.
There has been a 4lb rise for Wakool and he should be heavily involved.
ONE NIGHT IN MILAN looks the other obvious selection of the short slits in this contest.
He was a decent fourth over the hurdles at Wetherby three weeks ago, on the switch over from the flat.
That was a decent competitive showing from him, even though the race didn’t pan out in his favor. The longer trip helps One Night In Milan a lot in this one.
KAIZER is another that could benefit from being pushed up to a further trip here. The 2m effort at Hexham three weeks ago was clearly way too short of a distance for him.

Race Type: Class 4 handicap chase
Age: 4 year olds plus

UPANDATIT was third on his reappearance at Ayr three weeks ago. That was his chasing debut as well and he gave a very good account of himself.
He is pushed up in distance for this one and as he stays at the same mark, Upandatit is likely to be a big player in this one.
MAGNA SAM may not be out of this if he is able to build on his first run for a new yard.
That ended with a credible fifth on his chase debut, which was also his reappearance.
There was a marked improvement for him in that one, despite not getting the win and is no forlorn hope in a fairly thin field.
OFF THE BEAT steps into his chase debut on Monday. He wasn’t the most predictable of horses over the hurdles, so is worth a try over the fences.
The assessor has given him a chance with a more than fair mark.

SON OF CAMAS comes down in weight and on a trip for this contest, which could naturally help his chances on Monday.
There was a decent effort from him to take a fourth place finish at Sandown on his reappearance.
Things haven’t really clicked for Son Of Camas over the fences, but can be competitive.
GOLDEN TAPIAN took a course and distance win in a 4-runner field in October. That gives him obvious claims.
The follow up saw him take third at Wincanton three weeks ago from this revised mark, so he should be involved.
RAYA TIME couldn’t touch Golden Tapian over course and distance last time out, taking second place in the contents. But he is now 8lb better off in terms against that rival.
