MANDOOB is capable of stealing the show at York on Saturday as he is moved back up on the trip.

There was a marked improvement from him last time when he was runner-up at Ascot to Al Aasy.

That was after a break of seven months so there is still plenty to come from him.

Mandoob had good form as a 3-year-old and looks just about ready to kick on.

WITHOUT A FIGHT has just been lacking a winning touch this season. He can’t, however, be written out of this.

Without A Fight won a couple of times last season, including getting his nose in front at this level.

A third-place finish in the Aston Park at Newbury on his latest run a month ago was credible and he should be there.

EUCHEN GLEN is one of those in this race, who will need things to go his way to really get into it.

But that having been said, the veteran is likeable and he is sharp from a run at the Henry II Stakes at Sandown a couple of weeks ago.

Euchen Glen still can make his presence felt and is interesting at York.

Tip: MANDOOB 9/4

Ones to watch: Without A Fight 7/2, Euchen Glen 7/1

CATURRA is carrying a 5lb penalty for Saturday’s effort and he looks like he poses a big threat in this.

He was last seen in the Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock (Group 2) on his latest run, so has his sights lowered here.

Caturra ran into late trouble at Haydock, scuppering his chances of at least reaching the places.

He was a winner at a higher grade than this as a juvenile.

LIVE IN THE DREAM is on the up, even though his hattrick bid didn’t quite pan out too great.

That was at the Epsom Dash a week ago, and he could establish himself in that one at the front as he would have liked.

But still, one of those recent wins for Live In The Dream was at course and distance, so he’s shortlisted material.

MITBAAHY comes up in grade, but looks to be well worthy of his spot in the action on Saturday.

He looks pretty useful and won a conditions race on his reappearance at Hamilton last month. This is obviously tougher, but he’s a promising one.

Tip: CATURRA 5/4

Ones to watch: Mitbaahy 9/2, Live In The Dream 4/1

INGRA TOR has won two of three runs in this campaign and looks to be getting better all of the time.

Form from a big score at Newmarket 42 days ago reads very well.

Even though there is a big 9lb rise for Ingra Tor, he should be competitive.

HARRY THREE was beaten heavily by Ingra Tor at Newmarket on his penultimate run. But he responded in style.

Harry Three travelled strongly to get back into winning ways with a score at Newmarket a month ago.

Handicapping is suiting him well and he rates as a danger.

ROACH POWER is the final one on the shortlist for this contest after going close at Leicester last time out.

He was only just edged out in a handicap debut there and the conditions may suit him nicely as it should be quicker for him on Saturday.

Tip: ROACH POWER 10/1

Ones to watch: Ingra Tor 4/1, Harry Three 8/1

GOLDEN VOICE was a winner on her reappearance run, getting off the mark at Newcastle in April.

He was only caught late on at York in a handicap debut on his follow-up run three weeks ago.

The move back to 7f will suit and he poses a clear threat here.

AUDITOR takes a drop of 2lb after running into some trouble at Newmarket in a handicap run a month ago.

He was badly hampered which ruined his race.

Auditor hasn’t been running badly though, he just needs a clear run as he has been shaping well in general.

ERNIE’S VALENTINE gets on the shortlist after a good third at Newmarket with the blinkers on for the first time.

His juvenile form reads well, and there is further potential for him in handicapping.

The cheekpieces are tried for the first time and he carries a big 7lb claimer.

Tip: GOLDEN VOICE 9/4

Ones to watch: Ernie’s Valentine 4/1, Auditor 10/1

JUST GLAMOROUS should be able to kick on now, as he looked to be a little rusty a couple of weeks ago at Chepstow.

It could all simply be working his way up to form because Just Glamorous hasn’t yet reached the levels he was at last year when he won a couple of handicaps.

Just Glamorous does also have a winning course and distance effort under his belt, so warrants respect.

LORDSBRIDGE BOY has been in the frame in both runs this season and gets on the shortlist.

He was in fine fettle with a runner-up spot at Windsor last month.

He only gets a rise of 2lb for that very encouraging effort and Lordsbridge Boy should have enough to get in this.

SENECA CHIEF hasn’t gotten himself up and running yet this season, but there was a course and distance win by him last season.

He has slid down the weights now and could be sparked by that, the returning Tom Marquand and first-time cheekpieces.

Tip: LORDSBRIDGE BOY 4/1

Ones to watch: Seneca Chief 10/1, Just Glamorous 14/1

HALF SHOT gets a 5lb rise after winning on his latest effort, scoring well at Perth 51 days ago.

That really saw him take a step forward and there appears to still be plenty of room in the handicapping mark for him to work with.

Half Shot is going in the right direction and seems to be settling into his new yard nicely.

JOHNSON’S BLUE comes up in grade for this one as he looks to once again thrive at course and distance.

He has been finding plenty of improvement over the timbers and comes up 4lb for his recent success.

Brian Hughes is booked too, making Johnson’s Blue the one to beat.

COURT DREAMING fills out the shorts and has continued in good form with a third palace finish at Ayr last month.

Since winning at Carlisle in March, Court Dreaming has been in the frame the last twice, so consistently and looks to be a big threat here as he returns at the same mark.

Tip: JOHNSON”S BLUE 2/1

Ones to watch: Half Shot 2/1, Court Dreaming 4/1
