Today’s Horse Racing Tips & Odds – Saturday, 27th March 2021

Today’s horse racing tips for Saturday, which is a really packed day of action, look at Kempton, Kelso and Newbury.

There is also a great card at Doncaster, but we are looking at the races from there in a separate horse racing betting preview.

A lot is happening at Kempton with the Magnolia Stakes (Listed) while at Newbury there are some action as well including the Grade 2 Novices’ Mares Hurdle at 15.25.

The race favourite for this opening fixture of Saturday’s racing tips is KITTY’S LIGHT at 9/2* (betting odds recorded 17:12 GMT on March 26th, 2021 2021 at Bet365).

He will be looking for a little bounce-back performance here as he moves back to chasing. Kitty’s Light never really got going over the hurdles. There has been a 3m win in chasing before in his career.

The tongue strap is on for the first time for Kitty’s Light, who rates highly for this one. The last time he was in a chase was in November.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

DANDY DAN is worth a look as well as he is a previous course and distance winner. He returns from a break and is likely going to have plenty to offer. He is another that is making the return to fences after some below-par trips over the hurdles.

12-year-old CLAUD AND GOLDIE warrants some big respect in this contest. He took a course and distance win five weeks ago. There is a 5lb rise for him and all three career wins have happened here at Kelso.

The Magnolia Stakes favourite is GLOBAL GIANT at 4/5* (betting odds recorded 17:12 GMT on March 26th, 2021 2021 at Bet365).

On his reappearance this season he took part in the Saudi Cup five weeks ago. He was well below his best in that one in Riyadh. So that’s a long trip back and he is with a new yard today.

Last year he picked up two wins in four runs. There is no penalty coming for a win in a Listed contest at Newbury last summer and he looks a viable option.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

FAYLAQ can pose a threat to the favourite. He gets the tongue strap on for the first time which should help. He was knocking around this level last summer and looked as if he had decent potential in it. There should be further progress from him.

STORMY ANTARCTIC is the other obvious pick for the race. He returns from a wind op and has the tongue tie on for the first time as well. Stormy Antarctic did lose a bit of consistency last season and rarely plays on the all weather.

The 6/4 current favourite is AL ZARAQAAN* (betting odds recorded 17:12 GMT on March 26th, 2021 2021 at Bet365).

He is looking to extend a winning streak that he put together last season. He posted three wins from three and returns after a three-month break for this one.

AL ZARAQAAN produced a career-best on his last run, winning a handicap at Lingfield and he looked as if he had plenty more in the tank as well in that one. The four-timer is definitely on.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

ALMIGHWAR looks to have a chance in this one. He missed out on a hat-trick last time out when he took fourth of five in a handicap here at Kempton.

He has been away from the track for 150 days, but there is potential on his side. Almighwar needs another look as it’s too early to write him off after failing to fire last time out.

UNITED FRONT is interesting as he is really thriving at the moment. He claimed a win at Newcastle in February and was second at Chelmsford City on his latest 9 days ago.

He picked up a win on his reappearance, which here over course and distance 38 days ago. He was keeping on very well in that one as well.

So May Sonic likes a run here and even though he takes on a 4lb rise, he looks to have a good chance of continuing his winning form.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

STREAMLINE is another that took a win on his latest run. That happened 14 days ago at Wolverhampton when he responded well to finish strongly. Streamline is also a course and distance winner as well. There has been a fair rise of 3lb.

GULLIVER may be worth looking at to bounceback. He is a former course and distance but struggled at Southwell 23 days ago really. The last time that he had a taste of victory was in York back in October. He’s capable from this mark but needs to up his game a little bit.

She is looking to double up after getting off the mark in this sphere at Wincanton last month. That was in a novices’ race.

Rose Of Arcadia did have to put in some hard work at the end of that to hang on. But there were indications that she has more progress to go.

MARADA isn’t out of the picture in this one for Dan Skelton. She took an excellent win at Huntingdon over one who has since gone on to win. The step-up in distance is likely to give her more as well.

MISTY WHISKY is on a handy mark and she should pose a threat in this one. She didn’t get into her jumping rhythm last time out at Sandown. But since a wind op, she has looked an increasingly threatening presence over the hurdles. Misty Whisky is good enough to be in this one.

He made all on his chase debut here at the start of the season. He got the win in fine fashion there. Since then Kalooki has been up in graded company, which he has found a little too hot for him.

But now dropping and dropping in grade as well, he could have a chance in this, his handicap debut.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

BARTON KNOLL is another to watch in this fixture and is down 1lb from his latest run. That was at a Grade 3 course and distance effort earlier this month.

He was leading that contest for a long way, before finishing fifth. That was a bold run and could have a say in this. Barton Knoll is a three-time winner this season.

ESPOIR DE TEILLEE can’t be written out of this either as he returns looking for a double. He is up 4lb after scoring in a strong Warwick handicap last time out. he has a lot more to offer and is an exciting prospect in this sphere. That last run was a first since a wind op. He can’t be written off.
