BLACK GERRY moves back to handicapping and with some promise as well. His latest run was here at Fontwell.

He was second of three in a novice effort in that one, which was 71 days ago.

Black Gerry has been steady and consistent.

He gets the blinkers on for the first time and he could enjoy a nice return to this venue.

CENOTICE was a winner when last seen, racing at Bangor in April and he was commanding things at the finish.

Cenotice gets a 5lb rise for that score, but that looks to be well within his range and carries a 3lb claimer too. He may be the one to beat.

STATUARIO is match fit as well after taking a runner up spot at Uttoxeter in a small field four weeks ago.

He has not claimed a win since 2019 but rattled the crossbar twice this time last year over the fences. Statuario should be there.

Tip: CENOTICE 10/3

Ones to watch: Statuario 5/2, Black Gerry 2/1

GOOD NEWS arrives bang in form after claiming success at Warwick just four days ago.

He will be under a 7lb penalty for that win which is tough.

That success also completed a hattrick of current form for the veteran.

WARRANTY was a runner up three weeks ago in hurdles action at Plumpton, and while the win eluded him, it was a return to form.

The extra trip in this one looks like the right fit for him now and Warranty is a threat as he comes back at the same mark.

PRESENTING YEATS was fourth at Warwick eleven days ago over the hurdles, and it wasn’t the cleanest of rounds after a break.

He has been in generally good form for a while now and he receives the blinkers for the first time so can’t be ruled out.

Tip: WARRANTY 15/8

Ones to watch: Good News 15/8, Presenting Yeats 4/1

BRANDY MCQUEEN brings winning form with him to Kelso on Sunday after putting his foot down to get the win at Perth earlier this month.

That saw him get off the mark. Brandy Mcqueen is now moved up in trip and should have a reasonable chance of a follow-up.

PADDY THE PANDA has been in steady form since arriving for the new season following a wind op.

He was fifth at Perth three weeks ago, never totally looking settled in the race.

Paddy The Panda carries a big 7lb claimer though and has at least been churning out better efforts since his return.

LISSEN TO THE LADY was fourth here over the hurdles earlier this month on a shorter trip.

That was with a 9lb penalty as well. Listen To The Lady goes well around Kelso and should be right in the mix-up.

Tip: LISSEN TO THE LADY 4/1

Ones to watch: Paddy The Panda 6/1, Brandy Mcqueen 7/4

THE NAVIGATOR is likely to be a strong player in this one if he carries on in the same rich run of form.

He will be seeking a hat trick on Sunday. Those wins for The Navigator came at Musselburgh and Sedgefield.

The Navigator had a spin on the level a couple of weeks ago and did well, so overall looks in tremendous heart at the moment.

INGLEBY HOLLOW was fourth at Haydock three weeks ago and eased back 1b for that effort.

It was a solid enough run and he looked to be travelling very smoothly in it.

He will need a bigger effort here but he is not out of it.

RICH BELIEF arrives in form after taking a good second-place finish in a Killarney handicap two weeks ago.

He had stayed fit from a spin on the flat before that hurdle effort. Rich Belief comes up 9lb but has claims.

Tip: THE NAVIGATOR 5/2

Ones to watch: Ingleby Hollow 7/2, Rich Belief 9/2

MACHINE is a former course winner and has had a wind up during a recent break of four months.

Demachine sits on a decent mark at the moment.

The recent break could be a big factor for him after fading at Doncaster on his latest run.

PINK EYED PEDRO has not gotten his nose in front for a long time, but this looks to be within the range.

He is on a mark from which he should threaten and connections have turned to the blinker for the first time.

Pink Eyed Pedro was a runner up at Chepstow on his latest run, and it was something encouraging for the veteran to build on.

DESTRIER piques plenty of interest even though he will have to battle a 5lb rise to get a score on the board.

He was in fine nick at Aintree two weeks ago, just edging Barton Knoll by a nose. He opposes that rival in this one.

The quick seeker the gallop up front is, the better the chances of Destrier sticking in there again, so he’s worth a look.

Tip: DESTRIER 9/2

Ones to watch: Pink Eyed Pedro 5/1, Demachine 9/2

NO NO MAESTRO looks like a big player in this one after a runner up in a Worcester novice hurdle three weeks ago.

There was a hattrick completed by him at the end of the previous campaign.

No No Maestro also took a couple of wins here at Uttoxeter.

ALOST GOLD looks like being the biggest threat to the favourite in this one after having had a good reappearance recently.

Three weeks ago he was back after more than 18 months off to take a place finish at Warwick.

That’s something big to build on and Almost Gold has a 10lb claimer.

SHENTRI was in good form last time out, taking a runner up spot at Plumpton three weeks ago.

The jumping performance left a lot to be desired, however. The extra trip should help Shentri out a bit more.

Tip: NO NO MAESTRO evens

Ones to watch: Almost Gold 11/2, Shentri 10/3
