The race favourite is FAVORI DE SIVOLA at 5/2* (betting odds recorded 21:23 GMT on Wednesday, 10th March 2021 at William Hill).

He lost his ride last time out at Hereford, but he was going along well in that race, still showing plenty of potential about him.

That was on a hattrick bid as well and he has just been in superb form since a wind op and having had the headgear on.

Favori De Sivola has won at course and distance this season.

PUTDECASHONTHEDASH came back from a wind op last time out and immediately delivered a score at Taunton.

So the eight-year-old has to be on the radar for this one.

FORGOT TO ASK is the other for the shortlist. There has been strong form from him this season, putting together three place finishes from his three runs.

Two of those have been at course and distance.

He hasn’t added to his opening fences win at Ffos Las in May 2019.

But given his recent form here clearly puts him back in the picture for another strong run.

The current race favourite is SCOTTISH ACCENT for this handicap chase at 7/2* (betting odds recorded 21:23 GMT on Wednesday, 10th March 2021 at William Hill).

He is heading into action on the back of a win last time out delivering a storming finish to get the better of Central Flame by 7l over course and distance.

There is a 7lb rise now for Scottish Accent to deal with but he’s still fairly low mileage. He has been going from strength to strength recently and another strong performance is likely to follow.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

PEUR RD RIEN looks like an obvious threat as well as he was only just edged out at Doncaster in December on his latest effort. He opened the season with a win at Uttoxeter to get off the mark in this sphere. Consistency has not hit home yet but on a good day, he should be in the mix.

DON’T NEED TO KNOW is likely to be in the hunt for a place finish as well. He opened his chasing account in October at Kelso and took a second-place finish in that. The latest two efforts he has had have been at Catterick where he has been in the frame.

We have a little spirit here to look at next and the field is missing DRAKEFELL who has pulled out.

QAARAAT is the current 3/1 joint leader alongside SMOKEY* (betting odds recorded 21:23 GMT on Wednesday, 10th March 2021 at William Hill).

QAARAAT has been in the frame for most of his efforts this season and he is a former course and distance winner as well.

On his last run, which was just two days ago he was second in a field of eight in a handicap. Is this too soon for him?

SMOKEY is preferred with two wins in his last three runs away. Two weeks ago he secured a good course and distance success and was keeping on well in that one. That was a career-best effort and he’s likely to be right about there.

The other that is likely to feature strongly is DUKE OF FIRENZE who was ahead of Qaaraat a month ago here at Southwell as he took a second-place finish.

Another of the course and distance winners in this field, he lost at Southwell in February.

Duke Of Firenze is coming down in grade after his recent effort at Newcastle six days ago.

He has won plenty of times at Southwell before and he was again showing well when he claimed a second-place finish at Lingfield two weeks ago.

He had the run of the race in that one and is coming back up on trip now.

Charlie Arthur has looked in fine shape all season, he’s just missing the win.

ARIA ROSE poses a big threat as he is just thriving at the moment for his new yard.

He secured a rapid-fire hattrick with a win at Southwell last month and that was done impressively.

Aria Rose went close again on his latest, a four-timer bid but had to settle for second at course and distance.

SANS LOGIQUE looks to be the one with the most to find in this field.

However, SPEED COMPANY poses a genuine threat. The last run that he had was in October at Goodwood and he is making his fibresand debut.

The veteran is down in grade and off a 2lb lower mark. Speed company should be in this.

MISS HARRIET may be worth watching in the market as she looks to bounce back from a 7th place finish from last week.

She wasn’t well placed in that one and came up on trip again anyway. She’s not the strongest hurdler on her day but there have been recent positives with her form.

This is a tough field to call. ET APRES THOU opened the season with a runners up finish at course and distance.

But then he was terrible at Exeter on his follow up. But he’s back to where he did perform well and also at 1lb lower as well.

Ballyare was last seen 10 days ago when he produced a credible effort at Wolverhampton at this distance to earn second place.

There’s a fair chance that he will enter calculations again.

ANOTHER ANGEL has appeal as well in this as he is a seven-time course and distance winner.

He is up only 1lb from his last winning mark. Another Angel is back after a month away from the action, after scoring a runners up spot at Southwell.

PRIMO’S COMET was fourth over course and distance on his last effort. It wasn’t a bad effort from him and he is 2lb down from his last winning mark

. That was a good return to a bit of form last time out but hasn’t won in 12 now.
