EL BODEGON is expected to produce a big challenge in Dante on Thursday as he looks to complete a hat trick.
He was wonderfully progressive as a 2-year-old and has a lot more to come.
El Bodegon closed his juvenile campaign with a Group 1 score at Saint-Cloud by more than a length.
That was over Stone Age who is the current favourite for this year’s Derby.
So there are some obvious big claims from El Bodegon in this one and neon else in this field can match that form.
With proven stamina in the tank, El Bodegon is going to be well supported for this.
DESERT CROWN is another of the big players in this field at York on Thursday as he enters for a winning yard.
The expensive colt highly impressed connections on his winning debut at Nottingham last autumn.
He powered his way to a comfortable score by six lengths.
That’s been his only effort, but on the back of it he has been well backed in the Derby ante post market, so is thought highly of.
ROYAL PATRONAGE is well worth a look in the Dante betting odds as well as he looks to kick on.
He was last seen taking 8th in the 2000 Guineas, which was about his level there at that distance.
Coming up in trip for this one is bound to suit him and he has course winning form behind him having impressively won the Acomb here last term.

BOONIE brings some current winning form to the table on Thursday at York after a reappearance success.
That was earned at Nottingham a month ago at this distance in a conditions run.
It was a good step forward for him and Boonie can get in this with even further progress made.
KING OF BAVARIA won both efforts as a juvenile and made a pleasing enough start as a 3-year-old three weeks ago.
King Of Bavaria took fourth at Navan in a Listed contest.
That should have strengthened him further and he’s from a top yard that is currently in hot form.
GUILDED is the final shortlist selection from this one and she was highly tried as a 2-year-old.
The pick of her juvenile form was a superb fourth-place finish in the Group 1 Cheveley Park.
Guilded was last seen in a Group 3 in France on her reappearance three weeks ago and should be sharper for that.

ISLA KAI warrants respect in this hyper-competitive handicap at York on Thursday.
He came a long way in a short amount of time last season, completing a hattrick over 1m trips.
Isla Kai finished the previous campaign with a runner up spot at the course and distance with a tremendous run.
His return with a fourth in the Spring Cup was good and he could take some beating.
LIGHTENING COMPANY may have a big chance of getting in this as he looks on a very handy mark right now.
He was last seen taking a win at Redcar on a 1m trip just last month.
He responded well and while this is a much tougher assignment, Lightning Company warrants some respect.
HORTZADAR is looking for a double after winning at Ripon three weeks ago, his first win for a while.
He comes up 4lb now but looks to be in the mood at the moment. This will demand more but he can make his presence felt.

TOUCHTHESOUL was a runner up at course and distance last week against his main rival Coal Stock.
He was more than three lengths back from that rival.
But there was a mistake made at the last by Touchthesoul or else he could have gotten more pressure on.
Touchthesoul may have a chance of turning the tables as he is 3lb better off against Coral Stock on Thursday.
COAL STOCK looked extremely good in taking a win here at the course and distance 8 days ago in a conditional jockey’s event.
He’s still 4lb well in at the moment as he escapes the penalty and just looks as if he has so much more to give.
BEHOLDEN has some nice form in the bag and was a very good runner up at Huntingdon in April on his latest.
Still, it looks like being a massive ask to expect him to get the better of two excellent rivals.

THUNDER KISS has some solid claims in this Group 2 contest as she looks to complete a hattrick.
She was smooth as you like in winning on her reappearance a month ago at Cork in a Listed contest.
There should be more to come so she gets on the shortlist.
VILLE DE GRACE is another big player in this one. She had her reappearance run 11 days ago, taking second at the Dahlia Stakes.
That Newmarket effort saw her miss out on a hattrick, but there’s plenty to like about her and it’s not as if she was far away in the Dahlia.
NOON STAR joins the shortlist and rates as a big danger as well. She was runner up in last year’s Musidora.
After running below par in her final effort of the previous campaign, she was back in the mood on her reappearance
Noon Star took a score in the Nottingham Listed run two weeks ago, and the stalemate of Ville De Grace looks right in this.

COURT ROYALE also claimed a win at Hereford in February on his penultimate run, only narrowly getting touched off.
He clearly benefited from a career-low mark in that contest.
His follow-up was a runner-up spot and he should make his presence felt.
RICHIE VALENTINE may be the way to go at the moment as he arrives from a yard that is in top form.
There was a win for Richie Valentine 25 days ago at Plumpton, clearly back in form in that one.
He can be hit and miss, but if he’s caught on a good day, he may take some stopping.
DOGON makes a reappearance run having last run at Plumpton 7 months ago, taking a runner up spot.
He has since moved yard during the break and while he didn’t always show the greatest attitude last term, Dogon was still consistently in the frame.
