Race Preview
This looks like being a good open race and one of those who should feature is TRUMBLE who arrives in some big form.
It has been back to back victories for him, the most recent coming in a course and distance handicap three weeks ago.
He’s been given a big extra chunk of 7lb to work with.
With two wins in five runs now this season, he is on the up and did have plenty to spare on that latest effort, so Trumble should be about there.
PAPA STOUR isn’t to be written off from this one after a decent fifth here at Chelmsford City two weeks ago.
He will be looking to add to his latest win which was in September at Doncaster.
MUMS TIPPLE is a class act when in the mood and is a previous all-weather winner.
MEHMENTO is more than capable as well. There have been three wins in six runs from him this year, and he has delivered at a higher level than this.

There is quite a deep field in this one as well. GIORGIO VASARI isn’t without hope having his first run for a new yard on Thursday.
He was last seen down the field in a Wolverhampton contest just over a month ago.
He does need a revival but he was tried hard at Group level as a juvenile and looks to be on a workable mark.
RED WALLS showed great determination to land a win at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. He had to dig deep to hang on for that score.
But the form from the victory has been franked since, which should bolster his claims even further for this one.
SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD has won two of his last three runs, tallying five victories for the yard.
His latest success can’t be ignored as it was a course and distance handicap 49 days ago.
Sir Rodneyredblood returns on a 5lb higher mark so this is going to be tougher but he’s not out of the picture.
JACK THE TRUTH is another to consider for the shortlist.
He is a four-time course and distance winner and returns for the first time since a second at Lingfield in an August handicap.

MOVETHECHAINS should go close in this one as he bids for a course and distance hattrick. That recent form naturally puts him in the picture.
Both of those C&D successes for Movethechains were done by wide margins, the most recent of which was 16 days ago.
He may be tough to beat.
BRETNEY is no forlorn hope for this one, especially if it turns into a battle of stamina as opposed to speed.
He was a good third on his chasing debut at Stratford a month ago. There could be more to come.
The rest of the field is a little thin. LILITH was in action just nine days ago, taking a very good battling runner-up spot here at Lingfield.
It wasn’t the smoothest of runs, but she could have palace claims.
ROBINS FIELD has failed to complete his last two. But he’s had a wind open and has moved to a top yard, so may be able to come back with a revival.

There should be a chance here for IVILNOBLE to get a score for the first time since his return to action.
He has been going through a big drop in the ratings but rediscovered a bit from last time out with a runner up spot at Plumpton earlier this month.
There has been a further drop of 1lb for him and he surely has to get close soon.
GO AS YOU PLEASE gets the blinkers on for the first time as he looks for his second win of the season.
He took a Warwick success in September.
But the follow up wasn’t great, really disappointing with a fourth-place finish at Fontwell.
That may explain the gear change, but he’s not to be written off as he’s capable, just inconsistent.
GUGUSS COLLONGES took a fall at Lingfield a couple from home three weeks ago.
He seemed to be coming along alright over the hurdles. It’s not been superb form from him, but he was starting to look capable recently. Guguss Collonges may have a shout at the places.

There’s a deep field to look at for this one with some big threats.
AN TAILLIUR lost his rider at Cheltenham last time out but has been nothing short of brilliant this year.
He had gone to Prestbury Park looking for his sixth straight victory, but it all unravelled early on. There’s still plenty to come from him.
GUERNSEY went very close at Warwick last time out, just getting touched off at the line.
He stays at the same mark so warrants respect as well. Guernsey will be going up 4lb soon.
DARGIANNINI is an interesting one who pulled up in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow on his first run for a new yard. That was also his handicap bow.
Dargiannini was a very impressive winner at Sedgefield the last term and can’t be written off for this one.
Another to watch is GRISBI DE BERCE who tumbled at Market Rasen in June but came up 5lb in a race which he very likely would have won.
He picked up a win at Huntingdon on his penultimate run last season, before struggling under penalty at Kempton on his follow up.

DUC KUATO looks for a substantial revival having pulled up the last twice.
There’s been little but modest form from him in this sphere.
He was poor on his latest, which was a reappearance after a break of 8 months.
But he is down in grade and that could help him get back on track.
KIERA ROYALE looks the biggest danger perhaps after picking up a couple of chase victories this year.
After a drop in form after winning at Worcester in the summer, she was back on track on her latest.
Kiera Royale took fourth place at Ffos Las just over two weeks ago and that looks to be strong enough form to get her in contention on Thursday in a fairly weak field.
ROBADDAN is the other who could be worth chasing for the shortlist. He has failed to complete on his last three and naturally has fallen down the weights.
It’s hopeful place claims at best.
GO PHARISEE FLYER was a little bit all over the place over the hurdles last season. He made his handicap debut over the fences and could get in it.
