Today’s horse racing tips for Tuesday takes a look at a pretty busy day of action. We have a mix of jumps and flat racing picks.

The day’s racing comes from Carlise, Catterick, Kempton and Newcastle.

Heading up the market for the Tunstall Handicap Chase is INFORMATEUR at 3/1* (betting odds recorded 19:24 GMT on Monday, 15th February 2021 at Betway).

He scored a good win on his second go in this sphere back in November at a Catterick maiden.

Informateur nearly followed it up with a double as well, just missing out at Carlisle.

He is coming up in trip and comes from a yard which has a good track record in this contest. Iformateur should be in the thick of things.

SCHIEHALLION MUNRO poses a threat as well.

He has taken back to back second place finishes at Wehterby and Musselburgh on his last two efforts.

He is another that is coming up in trip here and that could make him a bigger player as he looks like he needs it.

In his novice chase season Schiehallion Munro won three times and one of those was here at Catterick.

But he’s up 9lb now than when he was last here.

He has come into great form in this sphere. He rattled the crossbar on his first two attempts before getting off the mark at Market Rasen.

He collected a win at Exeter just last month on a 3m trip and he had shown enough in that to potentially be very comfortable taking on a longer distance here.

Don Herbager has really come on since moving to chasing.

It’s been good consistent stuff from him and should be there or thereabouts with strong claims.

Our selection is going to be SIGURD however, who has leapt to the fore in this sort of contest.

In his last two races he has been sent off under front-running tactics and seen the very best of him.

He had plenty in hand on his latest score at Catterick and he was under a 7lb penalty for that.

GAME LINE is going to be the other that we are suggesting for the shortlist. For his new yard he has been in the money spot from three attempts.

He is coming back from a three-month break and there should be more to come from him. If he had taken progress further then he should be right about there.

The current 5/2 market leader is MASKADA* (betting odds recorded 19:24 GMT on Monday, 15th February 2021 at Betway).

She hit top form at Newbury a month ago when she just powered clear of the field in a 2m handicap. That was a nice return to her best.

The handicapper has hit her with an 8lb rise to deal with so Maskada is going to need little further progress in this race.

But she scored very easily last time out.

PYRAMID PLACE scored in absolutely fine fashion at Taunton on his last run.

He is dealing with an 8lb rise from the assessor but looks to have more to come.

That has been two successes in his last three goes over the hurdles and is still on the up with Paddy Brennan back in the saddle.

Another big threat in this race is FINISK RIVER who won a couple of fixtures at Cartmel in August.

He has taken a runner up finish in his last two offers. Finisk River comes into his handicap debut in this one and has a 7lb conditional on his back.

It has been two wins from three fixtures now for him as he has really found his groove. Crack Du Ninian has looked a totally different prospect in handicing.

There has been a 4lb rise for him after scoring at Sedgefield in December at this distance. He’s likely going to be right there.

SHANROE TIC TEC is the big threat to the favourite as he is sitting on a very good mark.

He claimed a very good third at Huntingdon on his latest effort.

That form has since been franked, so he is well worth a look to potentially go and end a 12 race winless streak of form.

He was in such good form last season and has picked things straight back up.

On his reappearance run Demopolis was second in a Market Rasen Handicap Hurdle.

Demopolis collected a win on his follow up at Hereford in December over the hurdles.

He has only been over the fences once before but is very interesting. He’s up 5lb in the rating from his latest effort.

DARLING ALKO is worth watching as well. He had a run in a jumper bumper at Lingfield on a 2m trip last month.

Darling Alko was fourth in that contest and wasn’t disgraced at all.

He at least got some good air in his lungs in that one. Darling Alko makes his handicap debut and pie quest interesting.

CANDY BURG has plenty of range left in him for progress. He collected a very easy win at Ffos Las on his latest run.

There has been an 11lb rise for him after that 2m trip success.

Candy Burg made the most of a failing mark in that one and so will need a little extra.

The race favourite at 3/1 for this Kempton handicap is AUREUM* (betting odds recorded 19:24 GMT on Monday, 15th February 2021 at Betway).

There is a fifth place finish for her on her latest run at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. The race didn’t suit her in that one at all the way it panned out.

Before that she put in an appearance here at Kempton and put a credible third place finish together in a maiden. She is definitely worth watching.

There was a win for PINK JAZZ on his latest effort. That was at course and distance as well, so that gives him some reasonable claims here.

That is three wins in his last four runs now. The handicapper has been after him with a 4lb rise so he will need to find more.

But Pink Jazz come out in 2021 in fine style and offers something at 15/2* (betting odds recorded 19:24 GMT on Monday, 15th February 2021 at Betway).

MABRE is another of the shortlist. He nearly scored on his latest effort at Newcastle on a 1m trip last month.

That was quite a promising run there and wasn’t really helped with the draw. Mabre is also a former course and distance winner and can get on the radar.

There was a win for him last time out and because of that he gets a 5lb penalty to defy for this next effort.

That recent win was here five days ago in a 5-runner handicap contest.

That was a career best and it did build on the three wins that Kind Review took last year.

SPARTAN FIGHTER took a nice return to form by collecting a course and distance win on his latest effort.

That was just over three weeks ago and it was a comfortable score that he banned as well.

Because of that he has to be taken very seriously and he will go again with the visor.

Another course and distance winner is GLOBAL WARNING. He got that C&D success in December last year, but couldn’t quite follow up.
