The race favourite for horse racing tips is MISTER MURCHAN at 5/2* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 18:12 GMT on Monday, 20th December 2020).

There has been some encouraging stuff from him this season.

On his debut over the fences (his plate race), Mister Murchan landed a win at Fontwell. He followed that up with a place finish at Sandown after having been 3lb out of the handicap.

He’s on a suitable mark now to launch a bold bit and he should be one to keep on side. It has basically been three very good efforts from him this season.

WAIKIKI WAVES should feature well in this fixture as well after having picked up a win at Leicester on his last run.

He should be helped out by a 7lb claimer and he fulfilled the promise that he had shown in his two previous runs this season with that Leicester win.

The other that we see is HIS DREAM who is coming down on a trip. A 26f journey was just too much for him last time out but he scrapped well for a fourth-place finish.

Three races ago he scored on his chase debut at Perth and looks far better in this sphere than over the hurdles. We fancy a go at him from 7/1* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 18:12 GMT on Monday, 20th December 2020).

We have DRAGONFRUIT heading up the market for this contest at 5/2* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 18:12 GMT on Monday, 20th December 2020).

There was a win for him last time out as he was sent chasing for the first time. That was at Carlisle after a 7-week break.

On this move back to the hurdles and with further to handle in the trip, Dragonfruit looks to be a major player in this one. He is staying at the same mark as he was for that chasing effort 9 days ago.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

PROJECT MARS is a great fit for Huntingdon as he has shown before. Six weeks ago he posted a course and distance win here and he takes on a 4lb rise in the rating for that one.

He is nice and progressive over the hurdles and there is every chance that he is going to be in the frame.

We think that there could be some value in watching LADY SALLY. She was third at Leicester three weeks ago on her most recent run.

That was a huge improvement to a rusty reappearance run that she had done.

With the handicapper giving her some breathing space there is good e/w value there at 16/1* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 18:12 GMT on Monday, 20th December 2020).

The race favourite here is FAME AND FORTUNE at 9/4* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 18:12 GMT on Monday, 20th December 2020).

There has been some cracking form from him this season and just two weeks ago he scored a course and distance handicap.

He is really propelling forward at a rate of knots at the moment. There has been a 6lb rise for him because of that C&D score.

That was his fourth success at Lingfield and he is just thriving right now. He should nail the distance and he could be tough to knock over.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

DONO DI DIO took a bit of a hammering on his last effort, but that was up among Listed company.

So there’s a big drop in class and before that jump up in quality, he was in good form.

Dono Di Dio had gotten himself a place finish at Kempton off this very mark at the trip just before that and that piques interest in his long odds.

We also think that there is more to come from FRASER ISLAND who gets the headgear back on.

He had the cheekpieces for his reappearance run this season in which he took a fifth-place finish at Taunton.

That was a good run from the Nicky Henderson gelding, and there should be further improvement to come.

HART OF STEEL heads up this field at 13/8* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 18:12 GMT on Monday, 20th December 2020).

He is aiming to complete a hattrick on Tuesday after hitting some top form.

His latest win was at Hexham after having delivered in a Kelso maiden back in October. That Hexham result was a month ago and as he’s going back up in trip we fancy him to go well once again.

There was more to come from him in that Hexham victory which suggests that he can handle a 4lb rise well enough.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

WINDS OF FIRE looks to be the main threat to the favourite. He takes on a 2lb rise after a second-place finish at Hereford.

That form there has since been boosted but the winner going on to score twice more since then.

So Winds Of Fire should have a big chance of entering calculations on what is a step up in trip for him.

RED REMINDER would be the other one to look at. He scored over course and distance twice last season in novice effort.

Red Reminder impressed on a third-place finish at Musselburgh a month ago on his most recent effort.

He seems to fit well at Sedgefield so he should have a chance to make his presence felt.

We have CRACKDELOUST as the current 11/4 favourite for this contest* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 18:12 GMT on Monday, 20th December 2020).

He picked up a win on his latest run, a score on his debut for his new yard at Ayr.

There is no penalty that Crackdeloust gets for that success so there are big claims from him.

That Ayr trip was at 2m so he is coming up a little in the trip, but given that he scored that recent run by five lengths, he should handle himself well enough at the same mark.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

GOLDRAPPER is worth looking at as well. He is only taking on a 1lb rise from his last run.

In that one, he was placed at Uttoxeter on what was his reappearance run for the campaign. We feel that he has more to come as well.

The mark does give him some work do on Tuesday, but he’s in good heart it would appear.

After a win on his latest run and having a 10lb claimer on his back, SINCERELY RESDEV could be worth looking at as well.

A reduced mark played to his favour here at Sedgefield a month ago on his latest run.

He carries the same rider so things are in place for him to put together another run. Sincerity Resdev is a former course and distance winner too.

HAPPY NEWS is the current 2/1 FAV for this handicap chase at Huntingdon on Tuesday* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 18:12 GMT on Monday, 20th December 2020).

She opened the new season with a good score at Ludlow three weeks ago.

That was a big improvement on her form from the back end of last season. It was also just the second time that she had been over the fences.

So there is plenty of room for improvement to come from her but she will be facing a big 8lb rise.

MACKIE DEE is of big interest following a course and distance score on his last run and does make it was our 9/2 selection* (betting odds taken from Ladbrokes at 18:12 GMT on Monday, 20th December 2020).

The price for that has been a 7lb rise in the ratings following that score from 42 days ago. But the third-place finisher in that race has gone on to win since.

GUSTAV is probably the best other option in this field as he deals with a 5lb rise. There was also a win for him on his latest effort.

He burst back into form after winning a battle against Fact Flow at Leicester. If the consistency is there to back that up then Gustav could enter calculations.
