Today’s horse racing tips come from some fairly calm waters up and down the country as we don’t reach above Class 3.

Newbury, Yarmouth and Brighton are the venues that today’s best horse racing tips are pulled from.

It is flat action in focus for each race and we start the day at Newbury.

So here are the best of today’s horse racing tips for Tuesday, 31st May 2022.

All times listed are GMT.

ALOTAIBI is a former course and distance winner, getting that positive juvenile to score on his debut.

He made a reappearance a month ago at Goodwood on a 7f trip and went well to take a runner up spot.

Alotaibi warrants respect and keeps the cheekpieces while he moves up 1lb for that recent effort.

HEBRIDES goes for the in-form Willie Haggas and therefore probably has a good chance on what is his handicap debut.

Hebrides moves up in trip for this race and is seeking a hat-trick after picking up a maiden and novice score to run into form.

CONSERVATIVE is another that warrants respect in this very competitive handicap fixture.

He has gone well on both runs this season, opening his account in March at Southwell in a novice.

He was even better on a runner up effort at Wolverhampton on should threaten back on the turf.

Tip: HEBRIDES 3/1

Ones to watch: Alotaibi 4/1, Conservative 5/1

SCAMPI is a good consistent sort and he got off the mark on his penultimate run, which was at Wolverhampton.

He followed up with a third-place finish at Chester, producing even better form in a strong race. Scampi poses a threat.

GRAND SCHEME looks like being another of the big players in this contest as he opened his account at Nottingham three weeks ago.

That was the second run of the campaign for him, and form from his runner-up reappearance at Salisbury has worked out well.

TREGONY is worth a look as she comes up on a trip and is just looking for that extra edge to get a win.

She was unlucky not to take a win at Windsor on her reappearance, before having excuses at Ascot three weeks ago.

Tip: SCAMPI 3/1

Ones to watch: Grand Scheme 11/2, Tregony 11/2

ADELITA is not likely to be far away as she has been in wonderfully consistent form for a while now.

She did claim a novice score last summer, and Adelita stays at the same mark as a second-place finish from Nottingham 25 days ago.

MANGO BOY failed to deliver the odds at Newcastle on his reappearance three weeks ago.

He did well enough but ran out of steam. So as Mango Boy is coming down on a trip for this one, he is well worth a look.

LUCAYAN is a former course and distance winner and while she will need to dig deep for win purposes, she’s no forlorn hope.

Lucayan has a reasonable strike rate on the flat, although she hasn’t taken one for a while. But she looks the best of the rest in a fairly thin field.

Tip: ADELITA 9/4

Ones to watch: Mango Boy 10/11, Lucayan 8/1

TWELFTH KNIGHT looks like a good prospect and opened his account at the course and distance two weeks ago.

That was a maiden contest and now enters handicapping for the first time. There’s no reason why he can’t make further progress.

LIL GUFF was a winner last time out as well, producing the score in a Haydock handicap.

Lil Guff wasn’t knocked around in a big field and was running on. She should enter calculations.

SILVER BULLET LADY is interesting in this field as well after a credible fourth on her reappearance at Wolverhampton.

On her debut last year, she took a victory over one that has since gone on to score a runner-up at the Listed level. She could be a threat.

Tip: TWELFTH NIGHT 7/4

Ones to watch: Lil Guff 7/2, Silver Bullet Lady 9/2

TOUCHWOOD has finished second in his last two races, but that still represents some consistent good form.

He stays at the same mark as his recent effort at Lingfield on a 6f trip.

Touchwood needed a stronger test in that one and this return to 7f where he was beaten by a neck on his penultimate run, should suit him down to the ground.

LITTLE BOY BLUE is a former course and distance winner and cannot be written out of this.

He gets the cheekpieces for the first time as he looks to build on a credible run at Kempton two weeks ago.

CHIEF LITTLE HAWK is the final shortlist selection in this one as he looks to break a long winless streak.

He wasn’t at his best three weeks ago at Ascot at all. But he’s dropped to a mark from which he poses a threat.

Tip: TOUCHWOOD 4/5

Ones to watch: Chief Little Hawk 4/1, Little Boy Blue 7/2

NIZAAKA was a winner when last seen in November, getting her nose in front at Wolverhampton in a novice run.

That was a positive but the form was bare from it. But Nizaaka looks to be on a lenient opening mark for Tuesday and rates as a danger.

NOYA gets on the shortlist because she looks as if she has plenty more to come now handicapping.

She got off the mark at the second time of asking with a win at Kempton. Noya took a third at Lingfield on her follow up under a penalty.

FALESIA BEACH is consistent and looks reliable enough to put in another strong effort.

There has been clear improvement by her and has only narrowly been beaten the last twice. The move to turf should help her claims.

Tip: FALESIA BEACH 6/1

Ones to watch: Noay 4/1, Nizaaka 3/1
