We start things off with a Class 3 selection from north of the border.

THE FERRY MASTER may be hard to get the better of in this small field and rates a strong horse racing tip to kick things off.

Following a wind surgery, he has been taking his chasing form forward. Earlier this season The Ferry Master completed a double at Kelso and Newcastle.

He has not been seen since his fourth-place finish in the Scottish National in April but went very well in that Grade 3 to suggest that he has this in him.

DO NOT DISTURB is in great current form having just completed a hattrick. That was delivered with a score at Kelso after a break of four months.

There has been a rise of 3lb for him as he looks to be going places at the moment. Do Not Disturb should get heavily involved.

RED GIANT has really struggled for form since a win at Sedgefield last year. It has been slightly better lately from him but may have some to find.

Coming up 4lb for a victory at Carlisle two weeks ago is GENERATOR CITY. He totally cashed in on a drop in the weights for that one and is no forlorn hope.

Tip: THE FERRY MASTER 13/8

Ones to watch: Do Not Disturb 2/1, Generator City 4/1

This Is another small field for Wednesday’s horse racing betting but this one looks super competitive all the way.

COQUELICOT returns to action over the jumps after a long break. She was tuned up for this one though with a trip on the level a week ago.

Coquelicot was a dual bumpers winner but never quite put it together over the hurdles last season.

MISTY BLOOM was fifth at Warwick on her reappearance, which she should be better for.

There was a victory for Misty Bloom at Ludlow on her final effort last season. She made the most of a reduced mark there and has potential.

ROSEISAROSEISAROSE may be worth another look. She wasn’t quite at her best over the fences on her latest but fits well for a return to the timbers.

She was a runner up over the hurdles at Warwick in September and while she couldn’t touch the winner on the day, had the rest of the field well in her pocket.

Tip: ROSEISAROSEISAROSE 11/2

Ones to watch: Coquelictor 7/4, Misty Bloom 10/3

This is a wide-open contest and there are plenty with claims in the mixer for this. One of those should be David Skelton’s TOKAY DOKEY.

He looks like a potentially good chaser. The thing is he hasn’t been seen since 2018 when he fell in the Dovecote.

Tokay Dokey won his first three starts before that Dovecote fall, including a couple of novice hurdles.

Former Irish point winner AMARILLO SKY may have a say in this on his chasing debut. He opened the season to score by a wide margin at Newton Abbot.

Then he followed up very well after a break to get fourth in the Welsh Champion Hurdle. Amarillo Sky may have a chance on Wednesday.

WITNESS PROTECTION was second at Newton Abbot on his latest run, despite losing a shoe in the process.

So that was a credible effort from the Irish pointer winner. That was on his chasing debut and Witness Protection is entitled to come on further for it.

POWERSTOWN PARK is another to consider for the shortlist in this uber-competitive handicap chase.

He secured a hattrick of handicap wins over the hurdles earlier this year. Powerstown Park was a credible fourth on his chasing debut at Huntington in April.

He’s been off since then but fits well.

Tip: AMARILLO SKY 5/1

Ones to watch: Powerstown Park 12/1, Witness Protection 8/1

This is a bigger field, but the standout candidate from them is REPRESENTING BOB who has set himself up with a hat trick chance.

In October he took back to back handicap chase victories. The latest of those was at Bangor, really fighting hard to get that one.

Returning to the hurdles he is from a 5lb lower mark and should have a very big say.

EARL OF WISDOM has had a wind operation during a long break. That would benefit him on his reappearance.

The last run that Earl Of Wisdom had was at Wincanton in February when he took a good fourth-place finish, having travelled well.

The extra trip on offer is likely to help as well as stepping into handicapping for the first time.

SHUTUPSHIRLEY is the other shortlisted selection for this handicap at Chepstow. On his handicap debut in February, he claimed a good second place at Taunton.

Form from that race was ranked as the winner went on to claim another success.

That Taunton run showed a big step forward from Shutupshirley who can get involved.

One more interesting one is former French bumper winner GOSUATRI. There wasn’t much form in the Spring from him over the hurdles.

But he has been sharpened up with a wind op and handicapping could play into his hands.

Tip: EARL OF WISDOM 8/1

Ones to watch: Representing Bob 2/1, Shutupshirley 17/2

STREET KID should rate as a danger in this contest after claiming a win last time. He delivered a career-best to score at Wolverhampton on a 7f trip a month ago.

There was some left in the tank from him as well, Street Kid looking comfortable.

This will be his first time on the Polytrack, but Street Kid, who has put together some excellent efforts this season, looks to be the one to beat.

MOBADRA is in fine form at the moment. He picked up a victory on his reappearance at Haydock in the summer.

He followed that up with another good run when he was runner up in a Newmarket handicap. Mabadra is another that makes his Polytrack debut in midweek.

ARAFI has a course and distance victory to his name. There have been three wins from him this year, so isn’t easily dismissed.

He did struggle a bit at Ascot in a minor effort at a mile on his last. But a return to Kempton could pull Arafi back into things.

Tip: STREET KID 7/2

Ones to watch: MObardra 11/4, Arafi 7/1

BEYOND EQUAL may have a chance to get back on track in this one after a misfire at Haydock three weeks ago.

He maybe did have excuses in that one, and that will probably answer some questions with regards to that.

Back in June Beyond Equal took a good win under the same order at Salisbury. Aside from that one at Haydock on his latest, Beyond Equal had continued in respectable form.

CAPOTE’S DREAM is thrown at the moment. He notched up his fourth and fifth wins of the campaign in his last efforts.

The latest of those was on a 6f trip at Windsor three months ago. The race did go in his favour in that one, but given his current mood, Capote’s Dream has to be watched.

ENDURING is another of interest in horse racing betting.

He is a former course and distance winner and while he hasn’t won for a long time, looked decent five days ago in a handicap over course and distance. Enduring comes down in grade with place claims.

Tip: BEYOND EQUAL 9/1

Ones to watch: Enduring 15/2, Capote’s Dream 9/4
