GREYSTOKE claimed a win at the start of the season which was at Newton Abbot before being thrown into his handicap debut.

The debut under rules happened at Stratford three weeks ago.

In it Greystoke did a good solid job in coming home in fourth place. There’s potential there for him in this sphere.

LIMELIGHTER can’t be overlooked in this one as he looks to add to a victory that he took at the course and distance 10 days ago.

He will be under a 7lb penalty for that winning effort.

But that win in and of itself builds on a good second place on his penultimate, so Limelighter is going in the right direction.

BUCKO’S BOY was a runner up in a handicap hurdle at Hexham three weeks ago so has a good sighter at this kind of contest.

It was a nice return to form and the move on up to this longer trip from only a 1lb higher mark, certainly gives him claims.

Tip: LIMELIGHTER 3/1

Ones to watch: Greystoke 6/4, Bucko’s Boy 7/2

SAMMYLOU returned for a break, his last run coming in January when he was a long way down the field in a course and distance handicap.

But he has done a reasonable job from before. There’s a chance that excuses were there in that C&D effort too, as he wasn’t ridden effectively.

Sammylou could have a reasonable chance of making his presence felt from what looks like a handy mark.

THUNDERSTRUCK is a former course and distance winner and is a fairly reliable one.

He was last seen taking a runner up spot at Warwick three weeks ago.

He only gets a 1lb bump up in the ratings after that but does concede weight to the field

GOOD NEWS completed a hattrick with a score in a Warwick handicap hurdle two weeks ago.

There has been a further rise of 4lb for him after that one.

That is going to make this much tougher, asking bigger questions of him.

But there is no doubt that Good News is totally thriving at the moment and can still get into the thick of things.

Tip: SAMMYLOU 5/1

Ones to watch: Good News 15/8, Thunderstruck 9/4

REEL ROSIE has won two of her four appearances, including getting her nose in front on her latest run.

She scored at Newmarket a month ago which was after making a good impression to open the season with.

Reel Rosie was beaten at Nottingham on her debut, but only by one that has won since.

For this latest win, Reel Rosie will be challenged by an extra 9lb but she still receives weight from everyone else.

PROFESSIONAL WIDOW is a good consistent one and should mount the biggest challenge to the favourite.

Professional Widow was a runner up at Sandown three weeks ago.

She remains at the same mark with the booking of top jockey William Buick a big bonus too.

MOON ISLAND was fifth on her reappearance run a month ago. She struggled on a longer trip.

So the drop by a mile should give her the boost. There was certainly impressive juvenile form by Moon Island who won two of her four efforts.

Tip: REEL ROSIE 10/11

Ones to watch: Professional Widow 3/1, Moon Island 9/2

ELSALS gets on the shortlist after picking up a victory last time out. He had the cheekpieces on for the first time in that one at Lingfield.

This will be the handicap debut for Elsals on Wednesday.

That was a big step forward for him and he gets help from a top jockey in William Buick.

TOTHENINES is well worth a look here after having put together some previous good juvenile form.

To The Nines was a runner up on his debut, finishing well ahead of one that has since gone on to win at Group 1.

He was fifth at Newcastle last month in a pretty loaded race and he ran with a lot of credit in that contest so is likely to be a big player.

QUEEN AMINATU is thriving at the moment and she is sitting on a hattrick chance on Wednesday.

The latest of those was on her handicap debut two months ago at Lingfield on a 7f trip.

It’s the turf debut for Queen Aminatu and she easily gets on the shortlist.

Tip: TOTHENINES 12/1 e/w

Ones to watch: QUeen AMinatu 11/8, Elsals 7/2

KING OF JUNGLE has won two of four race track appearances so far, including on his latest run.

That was with a score at Nottingham three weeks ago on a 6f handicap trip.

King Of Jungle comes up 6lb from that and is a former course and distance winner.

The claims for King Of Jungle brings some big claims to the table with Tom Marquand in the saddle.

WILLOUGHBY BAY scored at Goodwood on his penultimate run, which was last August.

Her one effort since then was at Bath last year but struggled on a drop back to the minimum distance.

Willougby Bay will step into her handicap debut on Wednesday on her reappearance and could feature.

LATIN LOVER was involved in a strong contest at York on his latest run, which was excellent form.

Stepping onto the Polytrack for the first time should give him a chance here.

Latin Lover’s yard is also in form and stays at the same mark.

Tip: WILLOUGHBY BAY 6/1

Ones to watch: King Of Jungle 11/4, Latin Lover 7/2

BIGGLES may be the one to beat in this one as he is just thriving at the moment.

He picked up a course and distance win three weeks ago, looking in fine fettle and staying on well.

There has been a 6lb rise for Biggles as he looks to complete a hattrick. Biggles looks like he has a stack of further potential to come.

KONDRATIEV WAVE is a good consistent sort and was a third-place finishing last time out and he stays at the same mark.

Kondratiev Wave is a former course winner as well, and given that he has taken a couple of very solid place finishes the last twice, he’s a threat.

SECRET MOMENT picked up a victory at Wolverhampton on his final run of last season, which was a 6f trip.

On his reappearance run, he took a second-place finish at Chelmsford City in April. He was a close runner-up there and should be in the mix.

Tip: BIGGLES 11/10

Ones to watch: Secret Moment 7/2, Kondratiev Wave 9/1
