STORMY IRELAND is the current 4/7 favourite for this race* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 20:57 GMT on Tuesday, 10th November 2020). The popular mare has had a reappearance run for this campaign.

It was a second place finish that she took in that one, which was at Market Rasen.

It was her chase debut for her new yard as well. Stormy Ireland was in top form over the hurdles last season, securing a hattrick at one point.

So after a promising start to the bigger stuff, the Paul Nicholls-trained Stormy Ireland is expected to be well in the frame in this one.

There has to be more improvement coming from her after that strong novices showing.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

ZAMBELLA shows a bit of promise as she comes into this sphere. With a good career behind her on the flat and over the hurdles in France, she looks to have some ability over the bigger stuff.

The last run that she had was at Market Rasen in September and took a seventh place finish there. Zambella was on her seasonal reappearance in that one.

Also worth a look for the shortlist in this contest is DIVA DE VASSY. Last season she picked up a couple of claiming hurdle wins in France.

She did make her chase debut as well in the last campaign.

The filly, who is with a new yard for the first time here, took a fourth place finish on her chase debut in February this year. There should be more to come.

Heading up this Mares handicap hurdle is LEGALIZED at 3/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 20:57 GMT on Tuesday, 10th November 2020).

She needs a bit of a bounce back performance in this one after taking a fourth place at Aintree on her last trip.

That was just a couple of weeks ago and she was found wanting a bit at the end of a 24f trip. She ended up 10l back of winner Dell’ Arca in the hurdles effort.

It wasn’t the most convincing of runs from her. It may mean that she is possible in this next contest even though she comes down 2lb.

We are going to look at STOP TALKING as our selection for this trip at 7/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 20:57 GMT on Tuesday, 10th November 2020).

After a 14-month break she returned to action with a solid chase debut a couple of weeks ago.

She claimed a second place finish on that trip, which was here at Ayr. So that means that she has very solid claims coming in this one.

It is the kind of promising performance that can be built on. After that very good workout, Stop Talking goes up 5lb in the ratings.

The other for the shortlist will be OFF THE HOOK. This is her second go after wind surgery. She returned for a season opener 11 days ago. That was after having been away for eight months.

So that was nothing more than a sharpener as she took seventh place, well beaten. But Off The Hook is a former course and distance winner and needs to be respected.

Heading up this bigger field is BOLDMERE at 10/3* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 20:57 GMT on Tuesday, 10th November 2020).

Having had a good run under his belt on his return to action this season, he retains a lot of ability.

Last season he won his first two goes at chase action. He didn’t manage to secure a hattrick after falling in a Weatherby Grade 3 effort to end the season with.

Boldmere looked as if he needed that recent run, and is expected to be a lot sharper here. He could set the standard.

TIDAL FLOW is expected to be in the mix for this fixture as well as he looks to really push on now. He was very good last season in novice chase action, picking up a couple of wins.

So he can’t be dismissed at all. Tidal Flow claimed a third place finish on his season’s opener in a minor event. The good thing for connections there was that Tidal Flow shaped well for a very long time in that race.

We think he’s the one to side with at 7/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 20:57 GMT on Tuesday, 10th November 2020).

NOTACHANCE was coming along well last season. On his chase debut he picked up a second place finish at Southwell before following up with a win at Exeter.

So he has proven himself in this sphere and overall it was a solid campaign from him.

It has been a 10 month absence for him, and will want to seek further improvement. Place claims look solid.

The race faovurite for this fixture is BIGIRONONHISHIP at 3/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 20:57 GMT on Tuesday, 10th November 2020).

He scored on both of his trips last season, victorites at Wetherby and Kelso.

The victory at Kelso came after a 7lb rise.

Bigirononhiship has proven his form when coming back refreshed, so it’s likely that he is going to enter the calculations in this one.

This is a good competitive field though and there are other options that we prefer for horse racing betting.

GLITTERING LOVE looks like a sparking option for this contest. The former course and distance winner won all four starts over the fences in the 2018/19 campaign.

The big development didn’t happen for his last season, but he is back fresh.

If he comes back right in shape then he is going to be a player. Glittering Love was last seen in March over the fences in March.

But our selection is going to be AMALFI DOUG at a 6/1 quote* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 20:57 GMT on Tuesday, 10th November 2020).

Last time out he was a faller at Kelso. He was hampered for that tumble, so it wasn’t an error.

In his penultimate fixture the 10 year old did pick up a win showing that there’s plenty of ability still there.

The 15/8 favourite is MINT CONDITION for this trip at Bangor* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 20:57 GMT on Tuesday, 10th November 2020).

On his reappearance run for this season he picked up a victory.

That was a handicap debut score at course and distance as well. So that seriously boosted Mint Condition’s claims ahead of this contest.

There is a subsequent 8lb rise that he will be dealing with. But based on that last showing, it is questionable as to whether or not that is going to stop him.

CHIRICO VALLIS takes on a 4lb rise so he is expected to be the other big player in this contest. He is sitting on a hattrick now after back to back wins here at Bangor and then Fontwell.

The first of those was a course and distance score for which he was then thrown an 8lb rise. That didn’t stop him as he followed up at Fontwell.

Chirico Vallis looks in top form right now and she is right about there.

The last time that CHRISTOPHER WOOD was over the jumps was at Musselburgh in February. He scored a victory in that run after having dropped down the ratings.

He followed up with a failed Grade 3 attempt at Cheltenham following that. Christopher Wood was in action on the flat in the summer scoring a win. He’s interesting back in this sphere.

The final race of our preview for Wednesday’s horse racing betting is this Novices’ fixture at Bangor.

LEGENDS RYDE is the even mooney favourite for it* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 20:57 GMT on Tuesday, 10th November 2020).

Other seasonal reappearance, which was also the mare’s first run after wind surgery. She took a sixth place finish in a big Grade 2 effort. That was out of her reach.

Legends Ryde got off the mark over the hurdles aginast her own sex at Ffos Las in her finral trip of the previous campaign.

Following that Grade 2 effort at Chepstow last month, she should be fitter for this trip and needs to be respected.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

FILE ILLICO has some decent claims in this one too. He opened his hurdles career at Carlisle 3 weeks ago and put in a good effort there.

It was a fourth place finish that he took in the race. So there could be more to come from him. Trainer Jonjo O’Neill will be expected to feature here under rules for the first time.

The other one that needs to be looked at is TOOK THE LOT. It was a second place finish for the gelding on his seasonal reappearance last month.

That was his hurdles debut and it came at Fontwell. Last summer he kicked things off with a bumper win at Stratford. Took The Lot looks to be carrying a big threat in this fixture.
