Race Details

Race 4 is a claiming fixture which is open to 3-year-olds plus. It’s a big field of 16 that is going off in this one on the fast dirt. It’s a six and a half furlong run, the winner taking $17k.

Race Favourite

BUSINESS CYCLE is the 5/2 favourite for this run* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020). He is a three-time winner from 6f to 1m. He will be out for a new stable for the first time today and comes down on the trip.

Business Cycle had been the 9/10F on his last run where he had to settle for second place. That’s been his position in the last three runs. Business Cycle did score on his last visit to Belmont Park which was at distance and he was the favourite for that one in October last year. Big claims.

Tips

5-year-old BUSTIN THE RULES comes in with interest at 12/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020). His claims come from a win at Aqueduct on his last run, which was right at the start of March. That was over a 6F distance in a $19k claimer. Not having been outside of the top three in any of his last four, he could be a threat.

Another who is coming in following a win is MONEYMEISTER from 7/2* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020). That success for the 6-year-old gelding happened at Aqueduct in early March when he beat Saratoga Giro. He was trending towards that and duly delivered. If he picks up immediately where he left off he could be in the picture.

Race Details

Race 6 of Belmont Park’s Wednesday card is this one 1m 110y allowance race. This is on the fast turf and it is for 3-year-olds and above. The winner takes home a nice purse of $41k in this one, and there are 15 declared.

Race Favourite

AM IMPAZIBLE is the 13/8 race favourite* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020). The 4-year-old filly is on a four-timer after scoring consecutively at Aqueduct. She is on the top of her game and is comfortable in this kind of company.

So it would be a surprise to not see her in the frame at all. Her last race was an allowance optional claimer for $42k. In with a very good chance, but this is the biggest field that she has faced.

Tips

Kicking off our other options in this one is BAREEQA who is a wonderfully consistent mare. She is on a hatrack having scored at Gulfstream over 8F back in the middle of April and is 5/1 to get this* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020).

Before that, however, was a bigger win for her as she took a victory in a starter stakes at Gulfstream. That is five wins in her last eight runs. She loves a trip at Belmont too, winning her last two efforts there.

ENGLISH SOUL gets her first run for a new yard in this contest. She is coming back from a longer break than some of the others. She was last out in October last year at the course and distance and collected a second-place finish.

English Soul was knocking on the door in a lot of the contestants last year and does warrant a bit of respect in this one at 7/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020).

Race Details

Race 8 from Belmont Park on Wednesday is this allowance optional claiming fixture. This is a 1m trip on the turf (going fast). This is open to 3-year-olds and above and it’s another of the day’s races with a massive field. There are 16 declared for the contest.

Race Favourite

Race favourite for this one is I LOVE JAXSON at 5/2* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020). The five-year-old gelding is in sparkling form and somewhat of a justifiable favourite here.

He has won five of his last six runs, two of those at Belmont Park. The most recent run he had was at Aqueduct in mid-February. I Love Jaxson is definitely bringing big claims in here.

Tips

Another that catches our eye in this contest is HAY DAKOTA at 7/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020). The 7-year-old gets a run for his new yard for the first time and does have some claims.

He has won two of his last three allowance optional efforts, but it was his third place on his last run that really stands out. With Paco Lopez in the saddle, he came home in the places in what was a Grade 3 Stakes at Gulfstream at the end of February.

Exciting 4-year-old colt CONVICTION TRADE piques a bit of interest despite the 20/1 odds on his back* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020). He warrants a bit of respect on his step up in the company.

Conviction Trade won an eight and a half allowance optional claimer at Gulfstream in mid-April. He broke his maiden at the first attempt at Belmont Park at the distance in September. Good each-way claims.

Race Details

Race 9 is the big Stakes action of Wednesday’s meeting. This is a 1m 110y contest on the fast dirt. The race is open to 4-year-olds and above and there are 6 declared to run. The winner will take away almost $63k.

Race Favourite

Heading to the start as the favourite looks to be RUSHING FALL currently at 6/5* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020) The 5-year-old mare has been away for 242 days, which is a long break.

She is used to a lot of breaks as she is lightly worked and has managed to stay on top of her game. Was only fourth on her last effort at Keeneland however in October last year, but won on her last trip to Belmont last summer.

Tips

There are some good horses in this field naturally. GOT STORMY has big appeal for the score at 13/8.* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020). Her last run was in early March where she took second place in a Grade 1 contest at Santa Anita against the colts.

Got Stomry is used to living among the best up at Grade 1 and has won three of her last seven contests. She was beaten by Rushing Fall last April but can turn the tables.

Another to size up is FIFTY FIVE who scored a big Stakes win at Belmont at this distance in October last year. That is back to back wins from her and six scores in her last seven runs.

She should have no problem holding her own in his company at all. The one slight question mark, just the like favourite, is that she is back after an extended break.

Race Details

Race 10 winds things up on Wednesday evening. This is a 6f claiming sprint which is open to 3-year-olds and above. There are 16 declared for the contest and this one’s back on the all-weather. The winner takes $17k.

Race Favourite

The 11/8 favourite is IN THE LOOP* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 20:17 GMT on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020). He bosses things in terms of rating in this field. He comes back to action though after a big 438-day break. It will be just his third racetrack appearance, breaking his maiden at his first attempt in Femarbury at Gulfstream.

Tips

Not too much from the competition in this one. OUR STORMIN NORMAN is a consistent runner and has been at a higher grade than this in most of his action. He took third in a similar cleaner at Aqueduct in the middle of March. Worth consideration.

The other that we can pull into the frame is 4-year-old colt JUSTICE OF WAR who returns from a 104-day break. He scored a 6f success at Aqueduct in February to break his maiden. Then followed up with a good third of seven at a higher grade at half a length further.
