Heading up the market for Race 2 of Delaware Park is MY BERNIE at 9/4* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 02:05 GMT on Wednesday, 24th June 2020). There has been up and down form from the gelding.
He was second from last on his last run for example, which was back in November. He has basically alternated between a good run and a poor one in each of his last four.
If he turns up on the day in top gear he could take this.
But there is a big element of unpredictability surrounding him and it may well be worth looking elsewhere in this open field.
Tips
C C’S WARRIOR looks as if he might be able to put something together. He returned after a break to score at Penn National from 16/1 in January. He is with a new stable for the first time in this game.
It looks as if he is more than capable of putting together another strong run on this next showing. He hasn’t been outside of the places in any of his last four trips and this isn’t the stiffest of company to be fair.
C C’S Warrior is well worth consideration from 9/1* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 02:05 GMT on Wednesday, 24th June 2020)/
The other that piques interesting is PHARAOH’S CITY who has two wins from two runs at Delaware Park. That needs to be respected and the other thing about him is that he is taking a drop in grade for this.
So even though his current form is nothing special, he’s a distance winner and should show well in this kind of field.
The other that we would look towards for a push is KEEPING THE PEACE. He is a solid and steady horse but was a beaten favourite on his last effort, which was in March. Could feature for the places.

If he brings top form then he is going to be in the frame, more likely than not anyway. The form is there as well.
He scored on his last trip which was a Fair Grounds as they even money favourite for the trip. That was a 6f distance as well. He has switched stables since through which just adds a question mark.
But that has been two wins in his last four runs and it has been a runners-up place and a win since his return from break. Big claims.
Tips
This is a good field and we have to next take a peek at TWIST OFF. There was a fourth place finish from him having been the 2/1 favourite at FAIR GROUNDS back in March. In the race before that he scored a very good win.
He handles the distance well and is a big contender to take the score from 5/2* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 02:05 GMT on Wednesday, 24th June 2020).
Looking for a return to form is TWO L’S MEOW. The colt scored back to back wins on his return from break. His last run was back in March at Laurel Park where he was third in an open field.
He was a long way behind the winner but this looks as if it is going to be more comfortable for him.
Coming back from a long break since December is DROSSELMOON who signed off for his break by scoring at Charles Town. That was in a 6f contest as well, striking by half a length in that one. He had been trending towards that success too and could feature.

She scored as well at the distance on her last run which was in May at Tampa Bay Downs. She looks good, strong and highly competitive. Sugar Fix will be lining up at Delaware Park on a hattrick on Wednesday. She checks a lot of boxes.
Tips
SISTER O’TOOLE broke her maiden on her last trip. She had been the 11/10 favourite for that particular run which was at Gulfstream.
It was a win that she took by almost a couple of lengths as well. She is certainly heading in the right direction and one to be respected.
PAT’S NO FOOL may pique some interest for this fixture as well. On her last run at Delaware, which was 12 months ago, she took a second place finishes in a 1m contest.
She has won twice before at 1m trips so is worth keeping on side. She has been outside of the places once in her last six.
One more mention is JULUCA who broke her maiden at the first attempt. She then missed with back to back runners up spots in her two to follow.
She was a beaten favourite on her last run, but her maiden was at 1m and she looks highly talented but needs to be pulled in a bit.

Tips
MY BEAU looks to have some decent claims in this contest as he has scored twice at 5f. He was third on his last trip which was in a 5f contest in November last year.
The two wins that he secured came on his first two starts. There is room for improvement, but is making his first appearance since November last year.
The unbeaten GIN AND PLATONIC is going to be an interesting one to follow in this one. It will be his second race track appearance only.
He scored on his debut at Monmouth Park last summer over a 4f contest. Gin And Platonic looked really good for it and is bound to come back with some improvement. The question is, how much.
YABBA DABBA DUDE has the potential, although he is facing stiff opposition than when he scored on his last run. That was at Tampa Bay Downs at a distance last month. That was his fourth win between 6f and 1m.

Race 9 favorite is BOBBY’S SONG at 10/3* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 02:05 GMT on Wednesday, 24th June 2020). The mare at the very least brings place claims to the table in this one, but there may be wiggle room to take her on.
She was heavily beaten on her last run as she trailed home at the back of the pack in a field of five in March. But she is the highest rated horse in the field and should be more comfortable among this kind of company.
Tips
FRAN’S SALSA has scored three times between 5f and 6F. She was a beaten favourite on her last trip, which was at Tampa Bay Downs in early June.
She found the going way too tough in that one. Fran’s Salsa hasn’t quite rediscovered her best since her return from break, but is highly rated and has claims.
There isn’t a high quality field that is on show in this one. CHERI’S WIN therefore may be able to come and put something together.
She is a distance winner and was in steady form before she went into her break. Her best hasn’t been seen since her return however, but if it’s there after a couple of low par runs, she could feature.
