Horse Racing Betting at Paddy Power

Caravan Of Hope heads the market

The current price of 11/10 is sitting on CARAVAN OF HOPE for this race* (betting odds taken from Paddy Power at 21:48 GMT on Monday, June 8th 2020). He is heading towards a hat-trick in this appearance after scoring at Ascot and Doncaster. The latter was by almost four lengths.

This will be the second run at Wolverhampton for Caravan Of Hope who took second of five on his previous appearance in August last year. There is every reason to believe that he is going to be knocking on the door.

AUSTRALIS
11/4

Paddy Power

Australis a model of consistency

The progressive AUSTRALIS rarely lets down his backers. He scored his maiden in September last year on the all-weather at Chelmsford City. His last run was at Wolverhampton when he claimed second of seven behind Seaborn in October.

He has been well tested at stiffer distances, having been upwards of 10f last season, and looks good for it. It will be interesting from 11/4 to see what he has on this return* (betting odds taken from Paddy Power at 21:48 GMT on Monday, June 8th 2020).

Western Duke to bring claims

WESTERN DUKE was last seen in the middle of December, so it hasn’t quite been as long of a break from him as some others. He was fourth in is last contest at Kempton on the all-weather.

It has been the one win from eight attempts away from the turf, and he should be happy and comfortable in this company to raise some interest as an each-way option from 12/1* (betting odds taken from Paddy Power at 21:48 GMT on Monday, June 8th 2020).

Mukha Magic eyes up a four-timer

There is not a doubt in mind about the form of MUKHA MAGIC. He completed a hat-trick with a win at Southwell in March (all three scores were at the venue).

So he is in great form on the all-weather but he is making up a step up in class here. He has to be respected as his last success was by a comfortable margin.

Get Back Get Back may enjoy a return to the flat

GET BACK GET BACK has scored twice in 6 starts on the all-weather. He was trying out over the hurdles towards the end of last year and then went for wind surgery. But it is his previous record on the all-weather that will pique some interest in his getting in among things.

Other Contenders

Irish veteran FIDUX won a couple of novice shows last summer. So he is coming back up in the level of competition. It will be the first time since 2016 that he has been on the all-weather flat and he did a tidy job back then.

4-year-old LORD HALIFAX has been well backed in the market as he comes back from a 110 daybreak. He has had four trips on the all-weather with good returns of a win and two runners up spots. He was second on his one previous run at Wolverhampton last summer.

Predictions & Tips

This is a really fascinating race. CARAVAN OF HOPE was handled lightly last season and probably has a lot more to come. After going close on his one previous visit to Wolverhampton, he makes for a good fit.

But it is AUSTRALIS who just takes our fancy instead because you know that he is going to put in a good run and there is still more progression to come from him.

The other that we would pay some serious attention to is MUKHA MAGIC as he steps up in class. He has the potential to really throw himself into the mix.
