The 2022 Glorious Goodwood Festival starts on Tuesday, July 26th and draws to a conclusion Saturday, July 30th, 2022.

Which horses to look out for at Glorious Goodwood 2022?

In the Goodwood Cup there is four-time winner STRADIVARIUS, taking on last year’s winner TRUESHAN and the convincing Ascot Gold Cup winner KYPRIOS who is the current 13/8 favourite* (odds recorded at 16:12 GMT on July 24th, 2022 at William Hill).
Among Wednesday’s headlines, there is the potential clash between the brilliant and as yet undefeated BAAEED and the equally fast-rising COROEBUS. If that planned clash goes ahead then it is probably going to be one of the highlight reels of the Festival.
Taking centre stage in the Nassau Stakes there are entries from the likes of NASHWA who is having such a powerful season, LILAC ROAD and DREAMLOPER.
Among Friday’s big attractions there is NOBLE DYNASTY and SHINING BLUE holding entries for the Coral Golden Mile, while in the King George Qatar Stakes RAASEL could be under big pressure from the likes of MITBAAHY and ACKLAM EXPRESS.
We will know the line-up for Saturday’s Coral Stewards’ Cup a little closer to the weekend. But early entries include INVER PARK, CHIL CHIL and MR WAGYU.

Wednesday at Glorious Goodwood is Sussex Stakes Day. The Group 1 fixture is one of the major show-piece fixtures of the UK summer of flat racing, and it’s informally known as the ‘Duel On The Down”.
There could be a huge showdown between BAAEED and COROEBUS on the cards for his year’s Sussex Stakes.
