Glorious Goodwood tips head into the penultimate day of action from the Festival as we size up each of the day’s seven races.
The big one of the day is the King George Stakes which goes off at 3:35 pm.

SUPER SUPERJACK has some claims in this wide-open handicap to start the day’s action at Glorious Goodwood.
He has been nice and progressive this year, banking a couple of 2m victories back in the spring. One of those was recorded here at Goodwood.
Since those victories, Super Superjack has put a couple of good place finish efforts on the board.
MELLOW MAGIC opened her account in a Windsor handicap back in April and has been wonderfully consistent since.
She has recorded a place finish in all five efforts since then. Mellow Magic does benefit from a good claimer on Friday.
Given that she was only touched off by a head on her latest showing at Chester three weeks ago, she has claims.
SOLENT GATEWAY is a big contender as well as he gets the tongue added to the cheekpieces.
There was a good third-place finish from him in the Northumberland Plate on his latest run.
The step up in distance will be testing. But he has been shaped with encouragement and can feature.

CHECKANDCHALLENGE should be a prominent one in this opening race of Friday at Glorious Goodwood.
It was back-to-back victories recorded by him on the all-weather to start things off with. That earned him a spot in the 2000 Guineas which was too much.
But a return to top form following that in a Sandown handicap a month ago means that Checkandchallenge has to be respected as he moves back up in class.
BAYSIDE BOY did a credible job in the St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, coming home seventh in the strong contest.
There is good enough form from him, particularly as a juvenile that suggests that Bayside Boy can mount a challenge. Bayside Boy faces much calmer waters here.
BERKSHIRE SHADOW finished slightly ahead of Bayside Boy in the St James’s Palace.
It’s been steady form by him in three races this season. He was last seen claiming a place finish at Newmarket in a listed run last time out and should be in the frame.

NOBLE DYNASTY is at the head of the market for the Golden Mile and brings winning form to the table.
On his return, he held off the field on a 1m trip at Newmarket three weeks ago. He will be under a 3lb penalty for that.
With a favourable draw coming up on Friday, there is a big chance that the handicapper hasn’t caught up with him yet.
Noble Dynasty therefore rates as a massive danger.
EILEAN DUBH has produced some cracking form as of late and he has proven to be a good, consistent one.
He tallied up his fourth win of the season when he got his nose in front at York three weeks ago.
Eilean Dubh is also under a 3lb penalty, but with leading claims from a low draw.
SINJAARI is worth a look and is another of the players who are going into the Golden Mile with a 3lb penalty.
He landed a 1m handicap score at Sandown a month ago.
That was his first win in a while and hints that he’s back in good shape. Sinjaari has a decent track record at Goodwood too.
BLUE FOR YOU also warrants a look to get on the shortlist for Glorious Goodwood tips on Friday in the Golden Mile.
He has taken back-to-back runners-up finishes in 1m handicaps and as he has been eased 3lb, Blue For You should have a chance.

MITBAAHY hasn’t put a foot wrong on a progressive season, opening his account on his second run of the campaign.
That was at Hamilton in a conditions race. But his next win was far more impressive when he scored a listed one at Sandown.
Mitbaahy then rattled the crossbar back at Sandown in the Group 3 Core Charge at this 5f trip. Luck wasn’t quite on his side then. Big claims are there.
RAASEL has come on very strong this season with three wins in his last four efforts.
The big one there was his Group 3 score over Mitbaahy earlier this month at Sandown.
It’s been two wins from two course and distance efforts from Raasel.
Another strong bid should be coming from him and he is just thriving on the turf for current connections.
KHAADEM is an interesting one here as he goes for Charlie Hills, who has had a terrific time of things in this race with Battaash.
Khaadem brings winning form to the table after claiming the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket.
He’s been refreshed since then and is an interesting player.

GLOBAL STORM commands some respect going into Goodwood action on Friday.
He was in fine nick last time out claiming a third-place finish in a Group 2 at Newmarket.
He has been in good form all season, a season which opened with a score at Meydan.
REBEL’S ROMANCE landed a win on his turf debut and is therefore pulled into the picture in Friday’s action.
That was a big return to top form by Rebel’s Romance, which could mean he is peaking at the right time. He comes up in grade but should go strongly.
FANCY MAN is the other that gets on the shortlist for Goodwood tips in this contest.
He opened the season with a victory in the Winter Derby Trial at Lingfield.
On his latest effort, Fancy Man showed plenty of ability with an encouraging fifth in a Haydock handicap after meeting some trouble.

CALIFORNIA GEM is on the up having built on a decent debut to win her two efforts since then.
She looked very good at Beverley last time out and warrants respect handicapping for the first time.
KNEBWORTH missed out on a hattrick last time out as he couldn’t quite defend his unbeaten start.
He was underwhelming in the Windsor Castle, but with sights considerably lowered, could be in the mixer.
FELIX NATALIS got off the mark at the fourth time of asking with a score in a Newbury nursery a week ago. He will be under a 6lb penalty but on the back of that run, still has claims.

YOUTHFUL KING is seeking a hattrick on Friday so warrants respect because of this big burst of form.
He has been right on his game the last time. His latest win was in a Sandown handicap and he should be right there.
HIGHLAND PREMIERE is another contender in this one after going well for a runner-up in a Newcastle handicap last time out.
That was just six days ago. But Frankie Dettori will be in the saddle and he’s 1lb out of the handicap.
Highland Premiere has shown good consistent form lately and should be there.
