Masar made a pretty big statement at the Craven Festival at Newmarket this week which has been shaken up betting odds at bet365 for the 2000 Guineas. Masar started as the second favourite with the bookmaker behind Roaring Lion in the Craven Stakes, a 7-furlong race. In the midst of the unseasonable heat, Masar turned on an impressive show of speed to blaze home, crushing White Mocha by seven lengths.

Roaring Lion, handsomely beaten out at Newmarket by Masar in midweek, has gone on the drift out to 12/1 following his failure to deliver as the odds-on favourite in the Craven Stakes.
