Newbury racing tips for Saturday bring some mouth-watering contests to the table on a big day of racing.

Race Preview
DEFINITE was a winner on his penultimate run, a good score at Haydock in a handicap.
His follow-up was good at Nottingham. Definite recorded as runner-up spot in that one and has every chance of getting involved on Saturday.
ROGUE ROCKET was moved up to the distance last month on a spin at Sandown and he looked comfortable for it.
Because of a win at Salisbury on his penultimate run, he was carrying more weight in that Sandown run, in which he finished fourth.
There’s a chance that Rogue Rocket could benefit from the experience of that.
GENERAL LEE can’t be completely written out of this one either after a more encouraging run last time out.
General Lee was good over the second half of last season.
He hasn’t quite rediscovered that form yet, but did a solid job at Goodwood on a shorter trip last month and carries a 7lb claimer on the weekend.

VICTORY DANCE landed a debut victory and took that form forward on his follow-up in being moved up to Group 2.
In the Superlative Stakes, he rattled the crossbar, just getting touched off in a warm contest by a head. Victory Dance brings some obvious big claims.
FERRARI QUEEN still has plenty more to offer and will be seeking a hattrick on the weekend.
Both of her wins have been recorded at this 7f trip and she was smooth as you like in scoring at Kempton 11 days ago.
Ferrari Queen has plenty of potential and looks as if she could give the favourite something to think about.
CANDLE OF HOPE has also opened her career with back-to-back wins and is looking every part a hot prospect.
Her victories were in 7f novices and the latest of those, taken at Thirsk, was very straightforward.
This is at a tougher level but Candle Of Hope looks ready for the stiffer challenge.

AWAY HE GOES is still looking to end a long winless streak, having failed to get on the board at all last year.
He finished fifth in this year’s Goodwood Cup renewal 18 days ago. That was a race which he won last season.
This is calmer waters for Away He Goes as he drops in both class and trip.
ZECHARIAH receives weight from his rivals, which could help his bid on the weekend, considering this is his toughest challenge yet.
He was a little slow to get up to speed this season. But he did very well on his penultimate run in the Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot. Zachariah has some claims here if he finds top form.
UNIVERSAL ORDER needs a little revival, but he may be worth another chance on the weekend.
He was poor in a Listed effort at Newmarket on his latest run, which was seven weeks ago. Universal Order has been refreshed since then and could challenge for the places.

DANCE FEVER has done much better on his recent efforts when having had his sights lowered the last twice.
He was an excellent runner-up at Doncaster on his penultimate. Then he took another place finish at Goodwood on his follow-up.
Dancer Fever is now back at his last winning mark and warrants enough respect to get on the shortlist for horse racing tips.
FIVETHOUSANDTOONE was much better last time out as the cheek pieces went on for the first time.
If there is any kind of follow-up on that effort, which was a second-place finish at Salisbury a couple of weeks ago, he should go close on the weekend.
GISBURN warrants respect as well because of having gone well at Newbury before.
Gisburn has won two of three runs at this venue. As he returns on the weekend after a runner-up at Goodwood a couple of weeks ago, he should be in the frame.

POGO is a major player in the Hungerford Stakes on Saturday. He missed out on a hattrick bid on his latest run.
But he was a close third-place finisher at Goodwood last month in the Lennox.
The two recent wins before that were in Group 3 contests.
The 7f trip suits him perfectly and if he is allowed a soft lead on the weekend, he may be tough to reel in.
TIBER FLOW goes for last year’s winning trainer William Haggas and looks to have a big chance in this one.
Tiber Flow was last seen in the Commonwealth Cup putting in a credible run, which didn’t totally suit him.
He goes back to the 7f on the weekend which is more to his liking. Tiber Flow has been refreshed since Ascot and with three wins in five runs this season, he’s a threat.
CHINDIT can’t be written out of this one on the weekend, although this may not be the ideal trip for him.
It’s been two wins for Chindit in five runs this season, including the Group 2 Summer Mile last month.
On a move up to Group 1 Sussex Stakes last time out, Chindit found the going too much there. Dropping in grade on Saturday gives him a chance.
DOUBLE OR BUBBLE should also pose a threat in horse racing tips as she comes down in grade as well.
She’s run with excellent credit in defeat at the top level the last two times.
That was after opening the season in the Group 3 Abernant Stakes at Newmarket.

RECHERCHER has had a good consistent season but without having got off the mark.
She looks a good filly and was third at Newmarket in a minor event three weeks ago. Rechercher is showing signs of being trained on and that opening win may not be far away.
SUZY’S SHOES could benefit from a little extra experience over some of these. She is another fair-looking maiden.
Suzy’s Shoes wasn’t in top form last time out in a minor effort at Goodwood. But she has been nice and refreshed for 85 days and brings claims.
BAY DREAM BELIEVER has taken back-to-back fifth-place finishes at the start of her career.
The most recent of those was three weeks ago at Ffos Las. She hasn’t looked the most straightforward as of yet, but it’s early and the potential is there.
