Saturday is the final day of this year’s Royal Ascot betting tips and the big feature of the day is the Platinum Jubilee Stakes.

That’s the one to look forward to at 4.20 pm and it is the only Group 1 fixture among the seven races on the day.

But there are other pattern company races to consider with the Jersey Stakes and the Hardwicke Stakes preceding the Platinum Jubilee.

Our betting experts look at the Royal Ascot betting tips for all seven races on Saturday as the festival draws to a close.

About Royal Ascot Betting Tips – Day 5

The one Group1 fixture then for Royal Ascot betting tips is the Platinum Jubilee Stakes, which looks nice and competitive.

The market leader there is HOME AFFAIRS, stablemate to King’s Stand winner Nature Strip.

Behind him though there is a stacked field of evenly-matched contenders in what should be a thrilling renewal.

The day opens with the Chesham Stakes (Listed) and before going up the tiers through the Group 3 Jersey Stakes, to the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes before landing on the big Platinum Jubilee in the top tier.

Let’s get into it.

Race Details: Listed, 2YO only, 14 declared, 7f

Preview: We kick the day’s racing tips off with a look at this contest for the juveniles over a 7f trip.

The market leader by some distance is ALFRED MUNNINGS.

The son of Dubawi has fantastic breeding and he looked like a hot prospect in landing a debut win.

Alfred Munnigns got that at Leopardstown on a 7f trip. He runs for Aiden O’Brien who has won this four times since 2016.

ALZAHIR did not land a debut win, but still produced plenty of ability as he went close at Yarmouth three weeks ago.

He gets the booking of Frankie Dettori and Alzahir should find further improvement from that opening forway.

Interestingly, Dettori has taken this ride over One World.

ONE WORLD looks full of promise and can’t be dismissed from this contest. He landed a win on his debit card which was at Haydock seven days ago. He could find himself in the frame.

FASIAL ROAD is another of the John and Thady Gosden crops that are taking on this challenge.

He landed a score on his debut at Yarmouth a month ago.

The form from that contest has been franked since. So that makes his bid here very interesting on the move up to 7f.

Ones to watch: Alfred Munnings Evens, Faisal Road 10/1, One World 16/1

15:05 Jersey Stakes (Group 3) – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Group 3, 3YO only, 15 declared, 7f

Preview: The first selection on the list is STAR GIRLS AALMAL who kicked off this season with a big positive win in a minor run at Gowran.

She showed plenty of promise in that one and followed it up with a fourth-place finish in the Irish 1000 Guineas.

There is a lot to like about Star Girls Almaal who takes a drop in trip, which, based on her Irish 1000 Guineas effort, is the right move.

NOBLE TRUTH arrives as a threat after baking a Listed win last timeout.

Last autumn he had landed a Listed contest at Doncaster in similar conditions to this.

So Noble Truth looks to be primed for a big effort at Ascot on Saturday and looks to still have further progress in him under Charlie Appleby.

The undefeated SAMBURU is worthy of a place in this one as he gets the cheek pieces on for the first time.

It’s been three wins for three by him and he was as comfortable as you like in taking the latest of those at York.

It’s been nothing but rapid progress for Samburu.

Another that is bang in form is three-time winner MONAADAH who also puts an unbeaten record on the line.

He looks promising, and while he comes up a long way in class for Saturday’s run, he’s an interesting contender.

Ones to watch: Samburu 8/1, Noble Truth 4/1, Star Girls Aalmal 7/1

Preview: This may well shape up how the market suggests that it will and that is with HURRICANE LANE being the one to beat.

He looks head and shoulders above the rest of this field having won three Group 1 runs last year.

This will be his first spin as a 4-year-old, but returns from a long break.

So that’s the only slight question mark over his chances.

Hurricane ended last season third in the Arc at Longchamp and with no penalty, he’s a massive threat if he is fired up and ready to roll.

THIRD REALM is worth a look as a contender although he won’t want any further drying out of the ground.

He has shown plenty this season, as heads to Royal Ascot on the back of a Goodwood Listed run last month. Place claims are there.

BROOME was the runner-up in last year’s renewal of the Hardwicke Stakes and is back for another crack.

He opened the season with a fifth at Tattersalls Gold Cup and should strip fitter for that.

One final one to note is MOSTAHDAF who is such a good youngster out of the Gosden’s yard.

He landed a Group 3 at Sandown on his return for the sixth win in seven runs.

He couldn’t add to that when he was heavily beaten by Bay Bridge in the Group 3 Brigadier Gerard last time out. But he’s a player.

Ones to watch: Hurricane Lane 8/11, Mostahdaf 8/1, Broome 11/2

16:20 Platinum Jubilee Stakes (Group 1) – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Group 1, 4YO plus, 27 declared, 6f

Preview: It is a huge field of declared runners for the Platinum Jubilee Stakes.

Of those, the big player appears to be Australian raider HOME AFFAIRS.

He started this season with a Group 1 score at Flemington back in February and that was over his stablemate Nature Strip.

On Tuesday Nature Strip destroyed the King’s Stand field here at Royal Ascot.

Home Affairs was never in a position in a handicap on his latest run.

But he looks like a big player for the Platinum Jubilee Stakes in what could be a big week for trainers Chris Waller.

There are so many challengers in this field behind him SACRED is one of those as long as the track stays towards the good side of things.

She has won two of her last three wins, the Nell Gwyn and the Hungerford Stakes.

Sacred does return after a break of 10 months, but she’s classy and not to be written off.

MINZAAL is another to keep an eye on the shortlist in this one because he shaped very well on his return.

That was at York 38 days ago, taking a place finish.

In October Minzaal took a very good third-place finish at the course and distance on Champions Day.

The cheek pieces go on for the first time and he rates them as a danger.

Other players to note in this really hot contest are CAMPANELLE who scored at Keeneland on her latest, course and distance specialist GLEN SHIEL and CREATIVE FORCE who won twice at C&D last year.

Ones to watch: Home Affairs 15/8, Minzaal 18/1, Sacred 17/2

17:00 Wokingham Stakes – Royal Ascot Betting Tips

Race Details: Class 2, 3YO plus, 28 declared, 6f

Preview: The first selection for the shortlists is BLACKROD who collected a win at Newmarket 49 days ago.

He’s been nice and progressive and picked up where he left off last season. That’s three wins in his last four now. Blackrod comes up 5lb and rates as a danger.

DUBAI STATION warrants respect as he arrives under a 5lb penalty for a score three weeks ago.

That was in a handicap at Chelmsford City and has continued to improve.

The penalty makes this more difficult but Dubai Station isn’t out of it.

SILVER SAMURAI is another that arrives under a 5lb penalty as he has been in big, big form recently.

He has been getting better and better with handicap scores at Newbury and then Haydock.

Silver Samurai looks to have a really good finish in him.

The final selection is FRESH who warrants some consideration as he has banked a previous course and distance win.

He was fourth at Ascot in his latest run, which was the VIctoria Cup last month. Fresh was also second in last year’s renewal of this race.

Ones to watch: Silver Samurai 12/1, Dubai Station 33/1, Fresh 8/1

17:35 Golden Gates Stakes – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Class 2 handicap, 3YO only, 1m 2f

Preview: This is another big field and PHANTOM FLIGHT is the first on the list as he looks full of promise and has run into form.

It’s back-to-back wins for him since a promising turf. The latest of those was at Haydock in May on a 1m trip and should have this further trip in him.

HONITON has been busier this season than most of the other players in this field. He is definitely on the up though.

He scored at Sandown a week ago, dominating the finish in that one.

Honiton is now bumped up in class as connections clearly expect more from him.

MISSED THE CUT gets on the shorts as he is tried in handicapping after taking back-to-back wins.

He’s looked nice and impressive and looked pretty powerful to score a Salisbury novice on his latest.

Ones to watch: Honiton 8/1, Missed The Cut 11/4, Phantom Flight 12/1

18:10 Queen Alexandra Stakes – Royal Ascot Betting Tips

Race Details: Class 2 conditions, 4YO plus, 14 declared, 2m 5 1/2f

Preview: After skipping the Ascot Gold Cup because the conditions weren’t right for him, TRUESHAN lines up in this one instead.

It doesn’t change the fact that he hasn’t been tried on firmer ground.

But this is obviously a lot easier of a race than the Gold Cup would have been for him.

Trueshan rose to the top of the staying division last year and is seeking a five-timer.

He’s in top form, but again he may not even line up due to the conditions.

FALCON EIGHT has a big chance in this one and may be the way to go instead. He was fifth in the Chester Cup on his recent effort.

That was a race that he won last year and he should be sharper for it.

The form from that latest Chester Cup spin has been boosted, so Falcon Eight is a player.

WORDSWORTH is the final one on the shortlist because he has an engine that will just go and go.

This is the first time at a marathon distance for him, but he looks to have the staying ability there.

He did run well in the Sagaro Stakes here on his penultimate, before a shorter run at the Curragh last time out did not suit.

Ones to watch: Falcon Eight 6/1, Wordsworth 3/1, Trueshan 11/8
