SUNRAY MAJOR kicked off the season with a fifth place finish in a Group 2 contest at Sandown.
He was then tried at Group 1 which didn’t quite pan out, but was highly competitive again in a Group 3 at Haydock last time out, despite not getting a clear run.
Sunray Major gets the cheekpieces on for the first time and should be right in the thick of the action.
LANEQASH is another that will be expected to be right there making his presence felt.
There was a wonderful Group 3 effort by Roger Varian’s charge a month ago in a Group 3 reappearance at Haydock.
Laneqash has been tried at higher levels than this and wasn’t disgraced in defeat last season either in sterner tests.
POGO looks to add to a victory at Haydock in a Group 3 effort last month. That was against some of these rivals.
Pogo just did enough to scrap it out ahead of Laneqash in the contest, but is now 3lb worse off against that rival as he faces him again.
That’s because he has taken a 3lb rise for that win. He is full of place claims, but Pogo may have a tough time on his hands picking up the win.

TYRRHENIAN SEA looks to be in great form at the moment after taking a runner-up at Newcastle a couple of months ago.
Form from that has been firmly franked. Therefore Tyrrhenian Sea who opened the season with back-to-back wins, rates as a danger on his turf debut.
MODERN NEWS should come back with another both runs as he has been well on top of his form recently.
Modern News was a course and distance winner earlier this season. He just missed out on a hattrick when he was a runner-up in the Diomed Stakes at Epsom.
MY OBERON has won two of his last three runs and could be a threat in this one.
Those recent wins were at Southwell and Newcastle and look to be well rated. My Oberon should certainly play his part in this tight contest.

MISTY GREY has put together a decent campaign, though he hasn’t got his nose in front in four efforts.
On his penultimate run, Misty Grey took a third palace finish on turf spin, his first in 18 months.
His follow-up was a fifth at Group 3 at the same venue, which was too much.
TRAIS FLUORS is a long way down from his last winning mark and an encouraging fifth at Redcar a week ago could see him challenge.
Trais Fluors hasn’t been prolific by any strength, but his form has been better in general by him this season.
SEATTLE KING gets on the shortlist and connections will have been encouraged by his handicap debut.
He was third at Chelmsford City at this distance three weeks ago. That was a reappearance run, so could have more to offer.

STOWELL takes a drop in distance which should put him well in the frame in this picture.
He was shaping well in a handicap at Royal Ascot when last seen, travelling well for a long way. Stowell should have placed claims in this.
KEMARI had a good reappearance after a break of four months in taking the fourth place finish at York in a listed race.
That Will have been very encouraging. He should be able to build on that effort and get in the frame.
UNIVERSAL ORDER is our final shortlist selection for racing tips, in a highly competitive fixture.
He won the 2020 renewal of this contest and a good runner-up spot at Haydock 11 days ago, could see him primed to strike in it again.

MALRESCIA has been making steady progression, building on what was an encouraging debut.
It’s been back-to-back wins for her, scoring cosily at Lingfield on her latest effort. Malrescia has plenty of potential.
MINNETONKA banked a win on her debut, which was two weeks ago at Salisbury.
She made all in the contest and produced some fine speed as well to close out the contest. Minnetonka is from a winning yard and should be a big player.
BELIEVING got off the mark at the second time of asking when he took a win at Wolverhampton a month ago.
That was after a good debut at Newmarket in which she was second on the Rowley Course. Believing showed a tremendous attitude to get that Wolverhampton score after a massive setback at the start.

JUDICIAL is a former course and distance winner and the veteran may be able to push for another.
There was a good second place finish on his reappearance run, before taking a credible finish in the middle of a bigger pack over course and distance 71 days ago.
SPYCATCHER has been in good form this season for the large part, including a win on his reappearance.
The cheek pieces are reached for after a rare weaker effort last time out at Haydock. The colt’s better than that, and Spycatcher warrants respect.
SENSE OF DUTY could be the one to beat on his all-weather debut on the weekend.
She completed a hat trick last time out in a listed race at Haydock at this distance. It was a narrow victory, but Sense Of Duty dug it out and is clearly thriving at the moment.
