Saturday’s horse racing tips look at some top fixtures from pattern company up and down the country.

All of the picks are from Aintree and Swandown, with the latter venue hosting the headlining act of the day, the Tingle Creek.

There are six selections that we have for horse racing betting today, and we start it off with the big one.

So here are the best of today’s horse racing tips for Saturday, 4th December 2021.

All times listed are GMT.

14:25 Sandown TIngle Creek Chase Horse Racing Tip

Race Type: Grade 1 chase
Age: 4-year-olds plus
Declared Runners: 5
Distance: 2m

Race Preview

The Tingle Creek only features a small field for this year’s renewal, but the Grade 1 fixture is such a big highlight of the racing weekend.

CHACUN POUR SOI is the current market leader who just looks like such a brilliant chaser. He has proven that form as well.

Chacun Pour Soi was last seen taking the Punchestown Champions Chase in April by six lengths.

That was a return to his very best, following his one career defeat in the Queen Mother at Cheltenham. In full fight, Chacun Pour Soi could dominate this.

NUBE NEGRA had a successful reappearance in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham three weeks ago.

That puts him in good stead for a challenge on the weekend.

However, he struggled to match Chacun Pour Soi in a clash with that rival in the Punchestown Champion Chase.

Nube Negra may well be the top pick for the forecast spot, but he has a lot to do to bag the win.

GREANETEEN should be that much sharper for having had a reappearance run at Exeter. That was a month ago in which he took a fourth-place finish.

Greanteen showed quality to finish as runner up in last year’s edition of the Tingle Creek and he scored the Celebration Chase in April over course and distance.

Tip: CHACUN POUR SOI 5/6

Ones to watch: Nube Negra 11/4, Greaneteen 7/1

13:50 Sandown Henry VII Novices’ Chase Horse Racing UK Tips

Race Type: Grade 1 novices’ chase
Age: 4-year-olds plus
Declared Runners: 7
Distance: 2m

Race Preview

This is the other Grade 1 fixture from Sandown on Saturday alongside the Tingle Creek. This looks like a very competitive novices’ race.

THIRD TIME LUCKI could be heavily involved as he looks to complete a hattrick.

It has been back to back novice chase wins for him since his reappearance.

The latest of those wins for Third Time Lucki was a Grade 2 three weeks ago by more than four lengths. Third Time Lucki should be right there.

EDWARDSTONE is another good one who showed a good heart to come up with a win at Warwick two weeks ago.

He nailed that just 12 days after having been brought down on his chase debut at the same venue.

Edwardstone did beat Third Time Lucki in the Country Hurdle earlier this year.

IL RIDOTO has had a good jumping career over in France and he was thriving in picking up a Newbury handicap win last week.

That was some big progress made after an indifferent British debut.

Another of the key players could be WAR LORD who got the better of Il Ridoto at Newton Abbot on his reappearance.

War Lord has since followed that up as well with a score at Carlisle, so he comes into this Grade 1 in top form, looking to complete a hattrick.

Tip: Third Time Lucki 2/1

Ones to watch: War Lord 15/2, Edwardstone 7/2

ELHAM VALLEY could feature strongly in this contest. He was at this meeting last year and recorded a course and distance win.

He also impressed at the Cheltenham Festival this year with a third-place finish at the Fred Winter.

Elham Valley should be stronger for his reappearance a month ago.

METIER retains some interest after some fantastic performances last year including dominating in the Tolworth here at Sandown.

That was part of a hat trick that he secured and he was going from strength to strength.

Metier was then sent to the Cheltenham Festival in March where he couldn’t get going at all and was a major disappointment.

This is his first run since then, but the prior form is hard to write off and Metier gets the tongue-tie for the first time.

SAMARRIVE won a couple of times last season, one in France and one in a Kempton Novice on his debut in Britain.

His reappearance was 42 days ago which didn’t go too well. But he is another who can’t be dismissed on the prior form.

BENSON is another to consider for the shortlist. He found some cracking form last season securing a hattrick from fresh.

His seasonal reappearance was three weeks ago at Cheltenham and it was a credible effort in defeat. A shorter trip here helps.

Tip: BENSON 7/2

Ones to watch: Elham Valley 9/1, Metier 3/1

It is one of those famous big Aintree fields in play for this Grade 3 contest on Saturday. We start our racing tips with SNOW LEOPARDESS.

She was coming along well over the fences last season and was in top form right out of the gate on her seasonal reappearance three weeks ago.

Snow Leopardess delivered a win at Bangor last month in that and the same jumping form puts her in this.

MAC TOTTIE claimed a win last time out, collecting a score in the Grand Sefton four weeks ago here at Aintree.

That gives him big claims for the weekend on just his second go at these fences. Mac Tottie has been pushed up 7lb but warrants respect.

LORD DE MENSIL was a faller on his reappearance run, but it’s too early to write him off.

There was a victory for him in the Grand National Trial at Haydock back in February. His jumping form deserted him on his two follow-ups, but if he puts it together he can get in this.

One final shortlist selection to consider is KIMBERLITE CANDY who has taken back to back runner-up finishes in the Becher Handicap Chase.

He knows what this is all about. There was a score for him at Warwick last season and is worth revisiting after just everything that could go wrong, went wrong for Kimberlite Candy in the Grand National on his latest.

Tip: KIMBERLITE CANDY 9/1

Ones to watch: Snow Leopardess 13/2, Mac Tottie 8/1

There’s a strong field here with SIMPLY THE BETTS likely to be in with a good shout in his one.

He was sixth on his reappearance three weeks ago in a strong Cheltenham handicap.

He had a limited campaign last year, so he should be better for having had that recent run under his belt.

Simply The Betts was going great guns the season before last over the fences.

PROTEKORTAT took a Grade 1 chase win here last season and hasn’t been out of the top two in any of his last six runs.

An encouraging second-place finish on his seasonal reappearance three weeks ago in a strong Cheltenham handicap gives him a chance. Protektorat should thrive on this kind of trip.

IMPERIAL AURA is another strong player for this contest. He was a faller on his reappearance when taking on the Betfair Chase at Haydock.

There will be a concern that he hasn’t managed to complete any of his last three.

But he was travelling well at Haydock before his fall and was a Grade 2 winner last season.

Another that can’t be written off is NATIVE RIVER. The more the rain comes along, the greater his chances of getting in this will be. He won the Many Clouds in 2019 and could pose a threat.

Tip: SIMPLY THE BETTS 5/1

Ones to watch: Native River 3/1, Protektorat 5/2

Distance: 2m 4f

Can ELIMAY be beaten in this one? She is a supremely smart chase and was last seen taking a runner up spot at Cheltenham in the Mrs Paddy Power Mares’ Chase.

That was another smart piece of form and from there she went to claim a win at Fairyhouse. If Elimay is sharp on her reappearance, then she should be right in this.

ANNIE MC looks the clear danger to her in this Aintree contest. She was thriving last winter, closing out her campaign with back to back wins.

Those were in similar contests at Doncaster and Warwick. Annie Mc can’t be written off.

ZAMBELLA was fourth on her appearance over the hurdles a month ago. She is looking to build on a very good season over the fences last season but was beaten by Annie Mc at Warwick earlier this year.

ELEANOR BOB was third on her reappearance effort at Ffos Las 37 days ago. She has shaped well in a couple of chase attempts, but this looks like being a massive ask for her.

Tip: ANNIE MC 11/4

Ones to watch: ELimay 4/11, Amabella 10/1
