She warrants some respect and she has proven herself to be a very good strong traveller so far.

On her latest run, Royal Aclaim banked a course and distance win in the Listed City Walls.

It was a dominant sprinting performance and she clearly looks as if she belongs at this top level.

She has got better with each subsequent run and it’s hard to see not getting involved in this one.

Can Platinum Queen deliver?

She has good claims though because of her pace, which has sent her form through the roof.

It’s been three wins in three from Platinum Queen so far.

The only result against her was in the Queen Mary when she found herself hampered.

It’s a massive jump up in grade, but she will be helped out with her afforded weight allowance.

Flotus another speedster to watch

FLOTUS is the other table runner in this field like The Platinum Queen who can lay down the pace.

She has been tested at the top level this season and hasn’t been disgraced with place finishes.

Flotus delivered a course win at the Group 3 Summer Stakes here last time out.

She takes a drop-in trip for this one which gives her plenty of claims.

Highfield Princess not to be dismissed

Although she is not too often seen at this minimum distance, HIGHFIELD PRINCESS isn’t to be counted out of this.

It’s been three victories for the likeable mare in the last four efforts.

The latest of her winning efforts came last time out at Deauville 12 days ago.

Before that, she was involved in the Platinum Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot in which she was sixth in the Group 1.

But her score over in France saw her get the better of some of those that had finished ahead of her at Ascot.

DRAGON SYMBOL was a winner at Hamilton on his latest run having been eased in grade and trip for the contest. It was a much-improved effort, but whether there is a back-up remains to be seen.

WINTER POWER won last year’s Nunthorpe renewal, thriving at the distance. However, she looks to have stalled for trainer Tim Easterby since then.
