Today’s horse racing tips take in more of the top action that is heading our way at the Ebor Festival.
It is day three of the tremendous Festival and it is a day for the fillies and mares.
The top fixture for Thursday’s Ebor Festival lineup is the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks.
So here are the best of today’s horse racing tips for Thursday, 18th August 2022.

DRAMATISED sets the standard in this contest and her claims are hard to ignore.
She will be under a penalty for being a Group winner. But that’s not likely to impede har really.
Her debut was impressive, landing the win at Newmarket in April.
But then she beat some of these rivals in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. There’s no real issue with her moving up to 6f.
Dramatised was all power at the finish at the Royal Meeting and can take this in her stride to complete her hattrick.
LADY HOLLYWOOD completed a hattrick last time out and is worth a look.
The 6f trip is a slight question mark, as it’s not certain whether she will stay because she is all speed.
But under a controlled ride, she still has claims and could have something to offer moving up from a winning Listed appearance last time out.
KERINDIA is the final shortlisted contender for the Lowther Stakes, who made a winning debut appearance at Nottingham.
She was very handy in taking a palace finish over France in a Group 3 contest. She had been a huge 40/1 outsider.
Kerinida, therefore, produced a big result and there could be more to come on the back of that.
One more for consideration is MAWJ who has been an excellent performer across all three runs so far.
She won on her debut at Newmarket, before finding only Meditate too good in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
But then Mawj got off the mark in Group 2 with a score in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes. She’s a player.

ALPINISTA is looking like the one to beat in the Yorkshire Oaks on Thursday at the Ebor Festival.
She has just been going from strength to strength for trainer Sir Mark Prescott.
Alpinista was runner-up in the 2020 Yorkshire Oaks renewal.
On the reappearance run 46 days ago, Alpinista took another Group 1 victory, that one was recorded in France.
That took her tally to six straight wins and has won 6 of 8 efforts at this distance.
TUESDAY is the other with some of the biggest claims for the Yorkshire Oaks 2022.
After places in the English and the Irish 1000 Guineas, Tuesday then landed the Oaks at Epsom.
She showed a great attitude to stick in there in what was a tight finish.
Tuesday was fourth at the Irish Derby on her latest, mixing it up very well, despite arguably not looking at her very best.
This is a competitive, yet not red-hot renewal of the Yorkshire Oaks so Tuesday can make her presence felt.
LILAC ROAD is our other shortlisted selection for the big Group 1 race on Thursday.
She took the Middleton here at York on her penultimate run. There was a follow-up at the Nassau by her at Goodwood.
Lilac Road shaped superbly in the fixture there and she has a tremendous attitude.
It could come together for her on this longer trip.

SHOULVEBEENARING didn’t do a great deal of good on his debut but quickly left that form behind.
He got off the mark on his follow-up at Ripon to take a score on his second racetrack appearance.
His yard has a good record in this one, so Shouldvebeenaring will likely be primed.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS could have a good run at things from the nearside in this contest.
He got off the mark at the second time of asking and put in a good turn of speed to get that.
Washington Heights rattled the crossbar at Pontefract on his follow-up and should be a player.
METAHORSE came in looking to complete a hattrick and looked good once he got going from the front.
That was in a small field and this is more competitive. But Metahorse has been progressing and has looked versatile.

ORBAAN is on a hattrick chance after really coming into his own recently.
He will have a 12lb penalty to deal with as the handicapper applies some pressure.
But even with that Orbaan isn’t to be written out of this as he is thriving right now.
The pick of his winning form was the Golden Mile at Glorious Goodwood.
BLUE FOR YOU has been in the frame in each of the last four attempts, the last three being all runners-up finishes.
Two of those runners-up efforts were at course and distance. So his connections know what this is all about.
Blue For You’s yard has a heavy hand in this year’s renewal.
He’s their leading player though and is sure to go well from a handy draw.
RHOSCOLYN didn’t get the result at Goodwood last time out, but shouldn’t be dismissed from this one.
He gets Harry Davies who shaves off 5lb. Rhoscolyn has nice pieces of form in defeat from stronger races than this in this campaign.
TYRRHENIAN SEA compiled a hattrick at the start of the season, picking up two of those wins on his return.
His turf debut wasn’t as hot at Windsor in June. But he does remain one to be interested in for a big yard.

GOLDEN LYRA has won two of her three racetrack appearances so far. Those were impressive wins too.
The latest of her victories was posted at Kempton six weeks ago. Sandwiched between those wins was a Listed effort.
Golden Lyra was a runner-up in that Listed effort on her seasonal reappearance. She looks ready for a big run.
SUPAGIRL claimed a victory at Navan in July, which was her third success of the year.
Supagirl comes from last year’s winning yard with some serious claims. She was a runner-up at Ascot on her latest.
But a line can be drawn through that after she ran into some big traffic along the way.
MIMIKYU has rapidly been on the up and will be seeking a hattrick bid on Thursday.
She is clearly going the right way, after a bare result on her debut.
The latest of her victories came on her handicap debut at Newmarket in June under Frankie Dettori for the first time.
With that same jockey booked for Thursday’s run then Mimikyu comes onto the radar firmly.
TIME LOCK is another of the key contenders with plenty of progress still to be unlocked and has some high-class breeding behind him.
He conceded 6lb to Mimikyu at Haydock, settling for second place to that rival.
He’s on a more even keel against that rival this time.

QUEEN AMINATU is likely to have plenty to bring to the table in this one. She was eye-catching last time out.
She was absolutely flying when she stormed a narrow second-place finish over a mile at Haydock.
Queen Aminatu is set to go up 6lb for that narrow miss. The 3-year-old is already a dual winner and she can add to that tally.
MOBADRA made a good impression on her reappearance run when scoring at Chelmsford City last month.
She gets a 4lb rise for that success, which was the third in the last four. She is likely to enter calculations.
ADAAY IN ASIA completed a hat trick last time out with another good run. That was in the Shergar Cup at Ascot.
She is just thriving now and the hat trick of wins was at 6f handicaps. Adaay In Asia comes up in distance and warrants serious respect.
